Lord Glirmud, son of Lord Hradic Dourbeard, has recently reached full adulthood.  While he has been known to enter battle swinging a great battleaxe and bashing opponents with his heavy shield, he does so only rarely, as responsibility for the Dourhands of Ered Luin has fallen heavily upon his young shoulders in his father's absence.  For now, he focuses on uniting the splintered Dourhands and keeping the Blue-Crag goblins from starting a full-blown war with the now strong and united Longbeards and their pointy-eared allies.

Lord Glirmud's somewhat precarious position as one of the youngest Dourbeards ever to succede to his father's seat is strengthened by the support of the "Oathkeeper," an Angmarim priestess and beast mistress who claims she has discovered a ritual which allows her to communicate with the spirit of the dead King Skorgrim Dourhand.
