Page 1. About me...

I have seen them.....Only once though..
They were riding through the lands South-Eregion close to the border to Dunland, wearing green armour and holding green banners with symbols and elements of horses.
They rushed past us in the woods, with long goldenhair and grave expressions...Men and women side by side..
My father called them Rohirrims - horselords of the lands of Rohan, scouting lands at their borders. They are known to be fierce and wild, and wellknown for their horses.

They are one with the horses, said my father. The horses carries their masters with pride, and they are a proud folk with a proud king. You can hear them coming from far far away...

Ever since I went with my father on his journey to the east after his search for Achazia's father. I have been reading books about them, seen pictures. Their touch of wilderness and bravery seemed so alluring to me... I often wonder if I could go there, learn their ways and customs and be one of them. I have always had this great love for horses, and I want to be a warrior, just like Achazia's father.

It is just dreams... The darkness grows from east, and is no safe roads to go anymore. Their lands are far far away, and as days passes by, dreams will be just dreams. This is just a naive dream from a young lady, romanticising about being somebody else, in another land, another time

One day, late evening at our attick, I found a old box, which seems to contain some sorts of a journal, my life seemed to turn upside down that night. It was my fathers journal!. His name was Leland, but his lastname was not Pinegrove. His name was Leland Goldwin, born and raised in Wold in Rohan. I could not believe what she read.. He appeared to have met this travelling merchant Lady Rose.. and fell in love with her..He left Rohan to join Rose back on her farm Pinegrove. He decided to take the farms name aswell, and used it his own Surname.

I could not believe her eyes,, such a secret, and why did he hided it away from her..? and my mother? why did she keep his heritage a secret? I decided not to confront them about this, they probably had his reasons to not tell about this, but I felt let down and dissapointed. I felt they sort of took away something from me, to let me know about my true heritage...

My longing to be to find myself grew stronger, my longing to travel away from Bree also grew stronger. My longing to do something else than being a farmers daughter also grew stronger. Self realization and freedom made me think back to my dreams. Should I go? Should I leave Bree and go to the land far far away with horses and brave warriors.. Perhaps I should travel to Rohan with the journal and find my Fathers family....
