My heart jumps at seeing this letter. I had feared the worse since I had heard about Calth. I had thought you had died and I would never see you again. I had told the girls that you were alive, and I begged every night that I was right. I spent the good part of 10 years worrying myself about you. When Lessel left for Eriador, and Risthir's death...I've been so alone, oddly. Your letter is the first of great lights I have had in years...And, my heart goes out to you, Isilorbor. I'm touched you felt that you had to tell me about this, Lithduel. I wept for your son, truely, I wish I had met him and Lithduel. Please, don't think you have betreyed me, Isilorbor, that is what pained me the most. You had gone though so much pain and hardship, even to have forgotten your own back home, I would be suprised if you didn't go for some woman then. I'm glad that you tryed for a family of your own, even though it didn't last...I'm so sorry, Isilorbor, I've no idea how much pain losing Gilendil must have brought you. You asked if I would take you back, you are so silly at times...You never truely left me. Look after our daughter, my love, and I will see you both when you return to Gondor. I have the deeds to the lands, and once you return to Gondor, you will be known as Lord Isilorbor Ventris. I will write to you as offent has I can.
