Another day has passed in these arid lands. Another day full of hunting and tracking… The land seems swarming with spiders and hill-claws. Even sometimes we have to evade encountering with them just to be able to continue our exploration. As a reward we will be able to locate some camping sites of orcs and goblins. Even with the help of Earalenia and Feagulfuin we sabotaged some of their war machines.
It was a pure luck that I came across to her, Earalenia in Esteldin before I made my way into the deeper parts of Ram Duath and that she answered my call when I need the most. We entrusted our report about the enemy movements and the outlines of their camps to her to be delivered Lord Anglachelm. Thus we can continue exploring the lands lying beyond the tent city of Aughaire…
“I must admit you sleep more than a man”
Meiva snapped the binding of her notebook, “I wasn't sleeping for your notice..”
The Captain smirked, “I am sure you weren't”
She elf didn’t bother herself to give a respond knowing it was useless.
As we move into the deeper parts I’m feeling weaker… Every single breath causes a burning inside… It’s like the air is not giving life anymore. Not just the air… earth is poor and water poisonous. There is nothing grows on the lands anymore. Even I can feel every beat of my heart getting heavier. I tasted this before… once I was in Dol Guldur…
“Darn this creatures..” Anordill cursed, inspecting the cut on his hand.
Meiva noticed him out of the corner of her eye and watched as he was clumsily trying to stop it from bleeding with his other hand. Surprisingly his loyal henchman wasn’t there to fly around him.
“Did you get hurt?” asked she elf expressionlessly.
Anordill grunted, “I thought that was the first thing you wish for me… but yes..”
Meiva just rolled her eyes against his blathering and stood up to move closer. “Let me look..”
He stopped for a moment in doubt then extended his hand. She elf examined the cut for a moment then nodded with a wryly smile. “You’re not going to die still…” Meiva cleaned the cut and applied some remedy before wrapping it with a clean piece of cloth.
“T..Thank you..” said the Captain in return which looked like a big step for them.
