Journal the Fourteenth - Verdict

Things have not exactly gone to plan. I had hoped that once Aakusti had completed his mission to these lands, he would go home to Angmar and I could return to my life in Bree-land. I had hoped this would be over. Alas, it is not to be.

After many hours of waiting, Aakusti was called back to speak further with the cheiftain. The verdict was only half good. The Lossoth now recognise that there are two tribes of Angmar and that the Trev Gallorg are friendly toward his people, unlike those who raze his villages and steal from his stores. Unfortunately, between the Trev Duvardain, the Guaradan and the truth of their home as a frozen, barren waste, they have no men to spare to offer aid to Crannog. With his Fem incomplete, Aakusti refuses to return to Aughaire. He also made a point of stating that he will not go back there without me. This is a problem.

It would seem that I am stuck with him for the forseeable future. He wishes me to take him back to Bree-land so he can hire men to aid him in fighting for the Lossoth. Only when their problems are lessened will they send a warband to Aughaire and only when he can secure some warriors of the snow-lands can Aakusti consider his Fem complete.

All along this journey he has tried to become closer to me. All along this journey he has been reminding me that someone else promised me to him. I can only assume that he will continue this charm offensive when we return to Bree. I truly wish that he would not.
