Barkindor and Carmiriel arrived at Mossward. The town had remained almost untouched by the greater dealings of Middle-earth for too long, yet that very isolation had become its weakness, leaving it vulnerable to threats.
Shortly after entering, they noticed the folk were in need of medicine and aid for the sick.Carmiriel began speaking with the sick and those in need, carefully noting their symptoms and gathering information on what could be done.
Barkindor visited the local healer's house to prepare Athelas and other salvages that might help the urgently ill in the town.He knew that any delay could make the difference between life and death.
When they spoke with the Town-Watch, they learned troubling news...
The bandits of Radlaw had appeared suddenly, seizing the trade routes, kidnapping villagers, and stealing valuable goods.
They decided to track down these "bandits," put an end to their raids, and ensure they would never again prey upon the vulnerable folk of Mossward.
