Been a busy couple of weeks. Lots of stuff 'appened. Namely, I 'ad to don me' disguise again. A couple of men wanted to bust me open fer eavesdroppin', so I dug into me' chest and found it in time. Fooled 'em, it did! Heh heh!
In other news, I'm attendin' a... Dinner party, o' sorts this evenin'.. The Elf and 'is Woman 'ave invited me to their house. Or houses. I'm not sure whether they live together or not... But I suppose we'll be stayin' in one house. It wouldn't really make sense to swap between two houses periodically now, would it?! No, I reckon it wouldn't.
Anyway, I'm visitin' this evenin'. Should be... Well, it'll be interestin' I suppose. I don' know why they keep annoyin' me like this. Pesterin' me. Perhaps their tauntin' me, only pretendin' to like me so they can beat me unconscious with sticks and steal all me' coin! Hmm... I think I'll bring Daisy along, just in case...
I'm also bringin' Bristlebrush. 'es nice and fit now, after I've been runnin' 'im around. I didn't want to tell 'im, but 'e was lookin' a bit... 'Padded'... Before I started runnin' 'im round Bree every day. Now 'es fine though.
Hmm. I wonder if their house is expensive... I wonder if they 'ave any fancy stuff for the stealin'? I can only hope... Heck, if lucks on me' side, I could be returnin' home with pocketfuls of expensive Elven silverware! Goodness knows I need the money. I'm runnin' out. I can only afford another weeks rent at the Pony, then I'll 'ave to find elsewhere to live... Aye, well, I've slept rough before. No doubt I can do it again. I'll jus' find a nice bush, settle down fer the night wi' Bristlebrush watchin' over. No problem.
Aye, well, only time will tell. Suppose I should bring somethin', a gift perhaps... Suppose I could just bring some pipe-weed. I've never seen either o' them smoke a puff, so in the end I'll jus' bring it 'ome with me! Hah! Perfect plan! I'll still keep me' prized pipe-weed, but still be courteous! How grand...
