Breeland - Day 14 (Morning)
The stranger, whom has finally told me his name, is still alive and is doing surprisingly well. He is, strange and mysterious. While not unkind, he is very distrusting. I hope to earn his trust, and find more about this man...I wish I could say exactly why I trust him enough to stay in my home, especially where I know nothing of him. Should I have turned him out and forbade him from returning? Probably, but the poor man is wounded and has no place to go...besides...I like having the company, even this stoic, quiet man.
He said he has to check in with the man he works for this morning. I am not sure if he is strong enough to travel, but he is going anyway. I will say one thing, he is stubborn. Ha!
While he is away for the day, I think I will take the rest of Father's clothes left in the trunk to the little fellows in beggar's alley. Winter will be here before we know it. It will be nice to see how they are doing...I sadly, have neglected them as of late.
