A Matter of Concern
(This is based on a statement made by Master Wybert to those attending Green Dragon Friday on 19th January 2024.)
My nephew, Oisean, who, by the way, has now returned to his mother in Mossward, gave an account to you here of the search for me following my recent ‘disappearance’ and of what occurred when I was found. That account has been recorded and is lodged on his own shelf in these archives.
I am, of course, very grateful to all those who came to look for me. You may remember Oisean telling of how Master Tubblo bravely challenged my captor when the search party arrived at the place where I was held, and of how that creature cast its awful gaze upon him and brought him to his knees.
Some of you may have noticed Tubblo acting strangely ever since that time, and I am very sorry to have learned that he has now disappeared! A friend of his went to his burrow and found the door unlocked and a scribbled note left on the couch by the fire.
The note said he had to go to find something and hoped to return by Friday,but it seems he knew that he went into danger for he said we should search for him if he had not returned by then.
One of the Bounders found his official card on one of the roads leading out of the Shire upon which is written:
‘Detective Tubblo – Private and Official Investigations
6, Brookbank Street, Songburrow’.
So please, if you hear anything that might lead to us discovering his whereabouts do report it to Master Aerinbard, myself or one of the shirriffs.
