The Chest From Thorin's Halls: Absolutely Not Relevant

Hiril Manadhlaer:

As you requested, I have made a list of books from the chest of tomes discovered by Daeruth -- may she emerge from her icy curse! --  under Thorin's Halls that have absolutely nothing to do with Dwarrow-gems. Some of them are about gems, but written in a didactic mode by our own hir Silwë. But none of what we have read cover to cover so far has anything to do with the topics you are searching for. We have, of course, more tomes yet to go.

Not at all relevant:

To Serve, the cooking book that I copied for hir Telpenaro (suspected to be from Gondolin)

A Sudden Ache, the romance novel, about which the less said the better

Etiquette and Customs of the Noldor, Volume 18 -- do you want me to search for Volumes 1-17 in Lord Elrond's library?
In Manadhlaer's writing in the margin: NO

A Dictionary, Adûnaic-Sindarin, Sindarin-Adûnaic, For the Scholar

The Gladden River-folk: A History

Only tangentially relevant:

Lost-Wax Casting of Fine Details, by Silwë

Secure Clasps and Weight Distribution for Gemmed Brooches, by Silwë

Incorporating Flaws: Telling a Story In Jewelry, by Silwë

Begging your pardon, hiril Manadhlaer, but if I am to copy these three books for their author, I simply must have a massage from Curulinn. Making the medical textbook and then the cookbook in quick succession has strained my writing arm.

We are of course continuing to examine the remaining tomes from the chest. The temporary incapacity of Daeruth is keenly felt. Sorontar is not exactly a speed reader.

Well, I must get back to it.
