Tolmen waited for his contact with little patience, these weak filth manlings were only slightly above the orc scum he slew in seemingly ever greater numbers, he needed to find the reason for their forays north and his accidental rescue of a mangy one eared stinking cur had yielded unexpected results. "Meet me outside the city at midnight" the man had bleated.
'City pah!' Tolmen cursed to himself, the erection of a few mud and wood huts covered over with filthy animal skins and rags did not make a 'city', the manling had promised a reason for the incursion of the orc filth, as he sat his warhorse he cursed again thinking
he had been led on a wild goose chase when suddenly the rustling of some bushes preceeded the filthy human's footsteps accompanied by the foul stench of his unwashed body, Tolmen dismounted as the man approached "This had better be worth it Ungwë scum"
The man stopped a few paces from Tolmen saying "Here is your reward for my life lordling, I hope it serves as expected"
Dropping a pouch in the middle of the track the man fled back the way he came, Tolmen scooped up the pouch feeling it's weight and placed it into a saddlepack on his warhorse. Mounting and turning away from the 'city' he gave word to his steed to make all haste back to more pleasant lands before he inspected the strange object in the pouch. He had an odd feeling about it, perhaps cousin Silwë could help...
