I found her.
Somehow, against all odds and reports, Mallossel is alive. What she went through as a captive (that is where she was, not dead, it seems), I cannot imagine, but she plans to in time return home to Lorien.
Though there is another who plans to accompany her, the old Noldo commander who got her lost in the first place. I know… it was her own choice. But I have greatly conflicting feelings on him. She deserved peace, not to be left behind for dead.
And she is not just loyal to him… she loves him. And apparently he loves her as well. I am trying to be glad for them.
I followed them to Bree and am staying in a strange inn here with them for now.
But Naneth, I just want to come home. I do not understand why she left Lorien if she did not truly want to sail, and I fear I have lost my friend even if she is still alive.
I miss you. I want to come home soon.

I also met this Nolde who claims to know the parents who birthed me. You never hid my adoption from me but she seems to think I ought to want to know more about them. Is it wrong that I do not? I just want to come home to you...
