Colours

Last night I had the honor of meeting with Lady Isoldis and contrary to what I have been told she welcomed me warmly. I also found her very different from my expectations with her long silky velvet black hairs. Guess, I should have known better not to believe what others say.

Under her guidance I found myself being introduced many of her kin, they also welcomed me kindly and showed a real interest. Since I left the golden wood this is the first time I felt the kind of warmth of my home and my friends. Most of them asked me how I was spending my time in Imladris and wondered if I started to get bored already. I don’t know if it’s possible to get bored while there were many things to see, to learn… and stories to listen… I’m sure they have many things to tell.

Stories… Nier remembered reading the words “I should have learned to sing for fairies” and her lips fold with a smile. She remembered noticing him when she first stepped into the halls. He seemed so familiar that she couldn’t help but ask Lady Isoldis his name. Tinuchen she said and added in a low voice “Let me introduce you but be aware that he is very shy”

And she tried her best to introduce me but he seemed so lost into that big book which he has been reading, I’m not sure if he really realized our presence. His looks passed from us to his book for a few times then just wrote down on a slate… Although I almost imagined hearing him talking he wrote down on a slate and Isoldis told me that he is mute.

He wrote down on his slate then left us there standing just like he left the book on the floor… Isoldis had a quite shock of his manners but didn’t say much about it. Apart from that rest of the night continued filling with music and happy laughter. When I felt tiredness setting in I wished them a good night and walked quietly out of the halls. But before leaving the halls the big book caught my eye and I couldn’t help but to take it with me…
