Childhood: Grandmother's death

- Grandma, is Death coming soon ? asked young girls clear voice.
Approximately six years old girl sat on her grandmother's deathbed, wearing a white, lacy sleepingdress. She was barefooted and her long darkbrown hair flowed over the edge of the bed. There was a curious and keen look on her face.
- Death comes when he sees fit, Tucona, grandmother answered with smiling face.
She had turned gray, with deep wrinkles on her face, and she clearly was tired by the old age. But she had not lost her kindness and good mood - quite the opposite.
- Tucona, remember this: love life and always help those who suffers, no matter whether they can afford to pay for it or not. Because the real reward is here, grandmother said resting her palm on Tucona's chest.
Girl seemed confused. She peeked inside from the collar of her dress.
- But there is nothing, grandma ! she protested.
Grandmother laughed softly. Soon the laugh turned into toubled coughing and after some time, she turned silent. Her chest no longer raised and lowered, and no longer her lungs took the air in.
Tucona tilted her head and studied grandmother's lifeless face for a moment.
- Did you come now, Death ? Where are you?
She asked and looked to every direction. Then she jumped down the bed and peeked under the bed: finding nothing.
- Remember to take good care of the grandma !
