What am I even meant to put in a journal? There was that mute, what was he? A Knight? He kept one. But that was how he talked.
Well, I guess I should say what has happened recently.
I returned to Bree. It has barely changed one bit. After everything that happened with Narys, I had been wary of coming back, but it was the right call. I've been working without stop for over a year. I have a decent amount of money now so it's high time I spent it and had a long break.
So that was how I made the choice to come back to Bree. It was my second night in the town, I was getting a drink in the Pony when saw a beautiful lass by the fire, Piper. Well, I'm not one to leave such a girl alone.
She is great. It felt like old friends meeting one another after too long apart. I don't think I've smiled that much in two years. I bought a few rounds of drinks, then ended up escorting her home, at some points carrying her, to the inn she owns where she was kind enough to give me a room for the night, though not before I gave her a kiss.
The bed was much comfier than any of the beds in the Pony, and I got a great nights sleep. Piper came by in the morning with my breakfast and we had a nice chat before she had to get back to work.She invited me to a picnic with two of her friends tomorrow, which I would probably be excited for if I knew what to do at a picnic.
I don't want to ruin whatever is between me and Piper. She is a good lass and I don't want to hurt her or mess up. I need to be on my best behavior.
