An Oath Fulfilled part 7

Tuilerie stops at the door, and with a stern gaze at Nolandur, stops him from entering
Nope. You don't think so.
Hundaquildo's head looks up, noticing her appearing at the doorway.
Tuilerie bows, 'Greetings hir Tolmen'
Almanulde sips her tea as the fragrance of berries fills the air and nod at Tuilerie, noticing her presence at last
Tuilerie says, 'Greetings'
Almanulde bows deeply before Tuilerie.
Tuilerie says, 'It is a quiet morning'
Hundaquildo says, 'Indeed it is.'
Tuilerie looks at Nolandur who tries to enter, and frowns, making him stop in his tracks
Hundaquildo nods in greeting to her, and one to Tolmen.
Tolmen breaks from his meditation.
Almanulde nods a little, "Indeed..Even the air appears silent today"
Hundaquildo says, 'It still smells the same here, in the morning...even after all that has happened.'
Tuilerie says, 'I had a small walk around the hilltop earlier, and Nolandur must have picked something up... Poor thing is a bit unsteady'
Almanulde says, 'Would he wish to remain in the care of the elves here and recover?'
Tuilerie says, 'Hmm, I think he needs to walk around to recover from his indigestion.. it wasn't something that see poisonous thankfully.'
Tuilerie says, 'Hir Tolmen, you seem quiet, more so than usual. What is on your mind?'
Hundaquildo says, 'Perhaps some water? The wells here run deep and clean.'
Tuilerie nods to Hundaquildo
Tolmen says, 'Memories is all child, memories...'
Almanulde nods, "The lands of Eregion are blessed with herbs of great value..Yet many of them are of a foul nature as well, those ones the orcs ever seek for their arrows"
Tuilerie sighs, 'This was a land rich with herbs...flowers...'
Tolmen looks up from the Camp Site Fire.
Almanulde shakes her head, "Not only the ones of beauty, but those that heal both fea and hroa alike.."
Hundaquildo gives Tolmen a look, as if he might say something to match his heavy gaze, but he is silent and turns back to the two ladies.
Tuilerie says, 'The air in summer-time would be rich with sweet smells'
Almanulde smiles at her memories "Indeed"
Tuilerie looks around.
Hundaquildo sighs softly. "...Yes, so many that it seemed impossible to count at times. As many flowers as stars in the sky."
Tuilerie says, 'It is almost hard to remember what it once looked like here... a busy city, fountains, gardens, amazing stone-work...'
Tuilerie looks down at the crumbling floor of the old building.
Almanulde sighs.
Tolmen produces his Diary and opens it to the final pages.
Hundaquildo frowns a little. "I have little trouble remembering...it is so sharp that I cut myself upon it, at times."
Tuilerie catches the movement by Tolmen, and nods, "Another grave to visit I assume."
Almanulde raises her gaze at Tolmen and looks upon his book, a slight tint of curiosity in her eyes
Tuilerie says, 'Please, I do not wish to pry...'
Tolmen says, 'What? .. yes one that is more important than my Shield-brothers.'
Tuilerie says, 'But it would be an honor to accompany you as you pay your respect so many were never buried properly here'
Hundaquildo glances at the book and Tolmen, interest in his eyes at Tuilerie's words.
Tolmen says, 'The land here is much changed, but if you wish to join than you may.'
Tuilerie nods solemnly, "It is the least I can do... a gesture to honor all who were left here."

Tuilerie looks up to the library.
Tolmen says, 'It is a little way from here near the shore..'
Hundaquildo says, 'Or those who chose to stay behind.'
Tolmen coughs politely. Ahem!
Almanulde nods, "The purpose of your visit is of no less importance than those we carry upon our shoulders, hir Tolmen. We all would be honored to come"
Tuilerie says, 'Please hir Tolmen, we will follow you'
Tolmen says, 'As you wish..'
Tolmen sighs.
Tuilerie says, 'I too left someone here behind... unburied and I must also visit that place...' with a sigh.
Hundaquildo 's expression is very carefully, almost forcefully, neutral.
Tuilerie says, 'My father...'
Tolmen nods
Tuilerie says, 'At the steps of the Library'
Hundaquildo says, 'You left him there, unburied in the chaos?'
Tuilerie says, 'I did... and more than that'
Hundaquildo has a note of puzzlement in his voice.
Almanulde looks away letting her eyes wander over the weightless patterns of the clouds, "Indeed..Many were left behind, with no proper honors and no cries to accompany their path to Mandos..Too soon they departed for the West.."
Tuilerie says, 'I could have done something... yet... I felt nothing.. only turned away'
Hundaquildo raises an yebrow, but again says nothing and the carefully constructe stoicism slides into place once more. "I see."
Tuilerie tightens her belt and strap for the bow.
Tuilerie looks up, with what looks like new found resolve in her gaze, lips are tight, 'Hir Tolmen, whenever you are ready'
Tolmen says, 'The Library is closer and perhaps a safer route, I would not wish to endanger your charges'
Tuilerie says, 'I saw no bridge across the river... it must have been destroyed.'
Hundaquildo looks amused by this, but does not comment.
Tolmen says, 'Can you not swim?'
Tuilerie beckons to Nolandur, who meekly approches, head kept low, tail even lower
Almanulde raises her eyebrow, "Swim?"
Tuilerie says, 'Aye, I know how to swim'
Tuilerie pats the head of Nolandur, "It will do you good to have another walk."
Almanulde nods at Nolandur before looking up at Tuilerie once again, "How fares he?"
Hundaquildo says, 'And let our clothes and supplies get wet, along with your leg in the cold water? Better to not cross at all, or ask for a boat.'
Tuilerie says, 'He seems a bit weak, yet no fever of any sort. I think he will recover, but slowly, not sure how deep the ford is these days'
Almanulde nods and approaches her belongings hastily, "I might have a fine assorment of herbs to assist his recovery.."
Tolmen says, 'I see you are determined to follow me then, as you wish!'

Tuilerie smiles at Almanulde, "Thank you."
Tolmen limps along with purpose.
Almanulde looks through her bags, many of those seeming almost weightless but their fragrance is notable even to those afar, then picks up a pinch of dried leaves
Hundaquildo looks on the verge of smiling again. "Indeed, you shall lead on today, hir Tolmen."
Almanulde hands it to Tuilerie, "Here.."
Tolmen considers asking for his horse then rejects the idea.

Tuilerie says, 'Thank you hiril Almanulde.'
Almanulde says, 'The fragrance shall be pleasant for him as well..'
Tuilerie recieves the herbs
Almanulde nods with a gentle smile
Tuilerie says, 'How do I minister it to him? do I make an infusement with hot water?'
Almanulde says, 'Offer it to him as it is, in case he refuses a beverage would do.'
Tolmen replaces the diary in his cloak.
Tuilerie nods.
Almanulde shakes her head, "Only if the creature refuses"
Almanulde says, 'Tis the herb that is important, not the way it is prepared'
Almanulde looks at Nolandur, "Yet his mind is scattered and hasty, he might object to the scent"
Tuilerie kneels before Nolandur, holds his head still and prying his jaws open, and forces some of the herbs into his mouth.
Hundaquildo chuckles at Tuilerie.
Almanulde chuckles.
Tolmen chuckles.
Almanulde says, 'Now you could simply try to convince him!'
Nolandur protesting shakes his head, but miracolously swallows it
Hundaquildo | The sound of laughter coming from him is strange and unhard, yet it shines all the same.
Almanulde looks at Nolandur's suffering eyes with great pity
Tuilerie says, 'There Nollie, be a good boy, and take your medecin'
Tuilerie smiles warmly as Nolandur looks up to her, tears in his eyes
Tolmen says, 'You should give him a treat for that!'
Almanulde gently pats the dog, "Aye, you do not wish for lady Tuilerie's wrath.."
Tuilerie says, 'Poor Nollie, hir Tolmen is right'
Tuilerie opens her shoulder bag and retreves a small piece of what looks like dry meat, and give it to Nolandur.
Tuilerie says, 'There! He looks more happy now', looking up 'Come hir Tolmen, please. Let us be on the way.'
Almanulde nods, "It shall help..He will recover swiftly."
Hundaquildo gives a small chuckle still. "Aye, almost enough to make him forget the taste of leaves."
Tolmen recovers a battered old travelling harp from his saddlepack.
Tuilerie sees the harp, but says nothing.
Hundaquildo says, 'Now that is not something I expected you to have, hir Tolmen.'
Almanulde appears surprised, yet remains quiet as well.
Tolmen says, 'Hmmph!'
Tolmen peers into the distance.
Tuilerie says, 'Hmm much of the roads have been destroyed also, there used to be many stairs, broad enough to carry horses in both directions'
Hundaquildo looks around.
Tolmen sighs.
Tuilerie follows the gaze of Tolmen and nods.

Tolmen turns off the path and heads directly down the hill.
Hundaquildo says, 'Indeed, only the main roads have survived the turmoil..'
Hundaquildo tries to keep his footing on the steep soil.
Hundaquildo thinks for a moment.
Coming to the shore of the Glanduin, Tolmen leads the party to a small ruin.
Tolmen says, 'This is the place.....'
Tolmen sighs.
Tolmen says, 'I'd better explain...'
Tuilerie looks down
Tolmen thinks for a moment.
Almanulde nods quietly, looking up at him with curiosity
Tolmen says, 'I happened across Cirtamir's parents here...'

Tuilerie listens attentively
Tolmen says, 'They were surrounded by maybe a dozen Orqui...'
Tolmen grimaces as he continues.
Tolmen says, 'When I came upon them, both were severely wounded and the Orqui were toying with them..'
Tolmen takes a sharp intake of breath and continues.
Hundaquildo glances at Tolmen.
Tuilerie says, 'Ack'
Tolmen says, 'Whenever they tried to escape the circle the Orqui would close the gap and stab or slash the pair..'
Tolmen says, 'They didn't expect anyone to return here and I caught them unaware, needless to say those scum fell like grass from my ruivë.'
Tuilerie nods slowly
Tolmen is angry.
Hundaquildo narrows his eyes dangerously, anger flickering in the dark gray depths.
Tolmen sighs.
Almanulde looks down, frowning at the grim tale
Tolmen says, 'They were beyond any kind of healing I could administer, Those fiends had chopped their hands off !!!'
Tuilerie says, 'Oh no!'
Tolmen says, 'They wanted to see their beloved Tham Mírdain one last time so I set them here, Eru knows why, the place was ablaze by then..'
Almanulde sighs.
Hundaquildo 's hands tighten across his spear, and he looks out over the river.
Tolmen is solemn.
Tolmen says, 'They bid I find their son, the Inya passed then, and after he'd given me a brief description her husband asked me to 'ease his passing'...'
Tuilerie says, 'The forges'
Hundaquildo says, 'This was why you found him?'
Tolmen nods.
Hundaquildo says, 'The child.'
Tuilerie says, 'Poor Cirtamir'
Tolmen sighs.
Tolmen says, 'They ended on this shore, so I commited them into the care of Ulmo, watched their bodies sink under the water and began searching for their son.'
Tuilerie says, 'He must be my age. Was he born here?'
Tuilerie nods
Tolmen says, 'Yes.. he was'
Hundaquildo tilts his head a little, eyes filled with pity. "Does he know?"
Almanulde says, 'Is he aware of the tale of his past..? Cirtamir, does he know?'
Tuilerie tilts her head and looks between Tolmen and Hundaquildo
Tolmen says, 'Only his parents are gone they bid him run when the orqui appeared'
Almanulde nods quietly
Tuilerie says, 'The tragedies never ends...'
Hundaquildo blinks, still looking sorrowful, but merely nods once more.
Tolmen digs under the rock and uncovers a sealed casket.
Tolmen says, 'I had no time to retrieve this until now.. Cirtamir's heirlooms.'
Tuilerie seeing the casket, keeps a respectful distance
Hundaquildo says, 'In some ways they have lessened, the grief....or at least the destruction.'
Almanulde looks at the river thoughtfully, "A day shall come when he reunites with them at last.."
Tolmen opens the casket and reveals, '[Lore-master's Book of the Second Age][Meletya]'
Hundaquildo looks very interested at what Tolmen has uncovered.
Tolmen produces the battered harp.
Tuilerie's eyes widens seeing the harp ready to be played.
Hundaquildo is surprised to see it in his hands.
Tolmen plucks several strings to test the tune.
Tolmen begins to sing his harsh voice rumbling like stones down an avalanche.

Tolmen says, 'Namárie nolondili, A hauta sinome Mauya nin avánie-yë tulta-tévië!'
Tuilerie sits.
Tolmen says, 'Nai lye radamina Mandostóke!'
Tolmen says, 'Hostuvanyë i quanda túrenya ar tulyuvanyë i lantenna núror Hendwa, Qui lá ecinyë sa, Mornië ar Mandë lerta mapatan.'
Almanulde sits down.
Hundaquildo approaches, but does not sit.
Tolmen says, 'Násië tenna fírienya var Ambar-metta!'
Tolmen says, 'Násië tenna fírienya var Ambar-metta!'

Hundaquildo sighs.
Tuilerie bows deeply before Tolmen.

Hundaquildo says, 'That was beautiful, hir...'
Tuilerie says, 'My deepest respect, the words were so beautiful'
Almanulde remains silent but slightly bows as the music ceases
Almanulde bows deeply.

Tolmen says, 'Hmpph! don't tell everyone'
Tuilerie says, 'No... I wont'
Hundaquildo looks at the ground for a long minute, not truly seeming to see it.
Tuilerie says, 'What you did ... is sacred'
Tolmen shrugs.
Tuilerie nods solemnly
Almanulde whispers adding to Tuilerie's words, "Indeed.."
Tuilerie says, 'That song... it echoed the blessed lands didnt it?'
Tuilerie looks west, and her gaze seem to glaze.
Tolmen says, 'It's an old song, yes..'
Hundaquildo looks back up, grief in his eyes, but he nods and says very quietly: "It is a great deed, what you did."
Almanulde sighs.
Tuilerie says, 'Eldamar...Tirion...'
Tolmen says, 'I happen to like the boy...'
Tuilerie says, 'Places I only ever heard in stories'
Almanulde looks up at her husband, "Tirion that rests upon the hill.."
Tuilerie seem to wake up, and nods to Tolmen, "Cirtamir is fortunate to have you."
Hundaquildo glances at his wife briefly, and a rare smile crosses his face. "You are the only one my heart is not too heavy to tell such tales to."
Tuilerie sighs, 'And your mission has come to an end here?'
Almanulde smiles briefly at last, her gaze still sorrowful at Tolmen's performance, and nods "And such is the joy as endless as the strams of lord Ulmo.."
Tolmen says, 'This part, there are still some old comrades fallen here and there.'
Almanulde says, 'We shall stay as long as you desire, hir Tolmen..If there are more songs you wish to sing in memory of those that are gone.'
Tuilerie nods
Hundaquildo says, 'It is a lonely place to be buried, but peaceful...We may give them as much company and memories as hir Tolmen wishes.'
Tuilerie says, 'Will they ever all be accounted for'
Tolmen says, 'No, that was all I intended here.'
Almanulde says, 'Then we shall proceed as you wish..'
Hundaquildo nods a little. "May they be happy in the West, and may they already have awakened by now..."
Tuilerie says, 'I am glad hir Tolmen to have accompanied you and witnessed'
Tolmen says, 'Honouring the dead is all I seem to do..'
Almanulde says, 'Indeed..It was an honor of the greatest kind.'
Tuilerie says, 'I too wish that I could sing like you... yet, in silence will I pay my father his respect'
Tolmen says, 'Thank you for your kind words Hiril'
Hundaquildo says, 'There is no fault to be had in honoring the lost.'
Almanulde says, 'Nay..As Cirtamir lives in mirth and peace now. And so his life is honored by you as well, as you let him be under your watch.'
Tuilerie turns around and looks at the library across the river
Hundaquildo follows her gaze quietly.
Tolmen looks across the river "It's overrun with filth now"
Almanulde peers into the distance.
Tuilerie says, 'I have never exchanged many words with Cirtamir, but I do rememeber him from when he caught up with us when we traveled from Lindon last spring'
Tuilerie says, 'The forges are... yet the library remains calm'
Almanulde says, 'The shape is frightening..And as night is upon us it shall bring nothing but more sorrows to our journey'
Hundaquildo sighs a little. "Tis nearly menacing though, in the dusk light...I do not like the looks of it."
Hundaquildo says, 'The burrow of an adder is calm until one places their foot too close.'
Tuilerie looks at Hundaquildo, sadness in her eyes, "Yet I must go there."
Tolmen agrees.
Almanulde says, 'The lights were lit there and never they went dim..Not ever in the darkest of nights.'
Hundaquildo meets her gaze, sorrow there, but no fear. "We shall not turn back. Where you go, we shall go too."
Tuilerie sighs, 'This.., 'Will not be easy..., 'I abandoned him on the steps... He was still alive'
Hundaquildo says, 'Such things that are worth doing, never are.'
Hundaquildo abruptly falls silent.
Tuilerie says, 'There was life in him still, tho ebbing out rapidly... and I just walked away'
Tuilerie looks at Nolandur and nods.
Tolmen looks over to the river, remaining silent.
Almanulde nods, "And so it shall be..Yet as our steps will follow yours our hearts shall follow. Never alone you should venture into those halls"
Tuilerie says, 'I cannot ask you to follow me. I must do this, 'I must ask for forgiveness'
Hundaquildo says, 'We are telling you, Tuilerie. You are not asking.'
Tolmen says, 'Aye a burden shared..'
Tuilerie sighs, 'Then it is best to get it over with, 'It is not far, just beyond the waterfall'
Tuilerie keeps looking forward.

Nolandur trots along behind Tuilerie.
Tuilerie says, 'The ford is passable, 'We will be dry, knees up at least'
Hundaquildo says, 'Thankfully. The rains have been light as of late, it seems.'
Tuilerie says, 'There used to be a low bridge across..., 'Thankfully it was shallow'
Almanulde shakes the water off her robes

Hundaquildo shakes a bit of water from his boot but seems to be fine.
Tuilerie says, 'I dread this...'
Hundaquildo looks at the gates quietly.
Tuilerie stops before the stairs, and her face has turned white
Almanulde whispers, "The song of the ruins is quiet..Silent it is..as it should not be."
Tuilerie says, 'I can still see it..., 'Father...'
Hundaquildo looks to Tuilerie ith sympathy, and nods.
Tuilerie stops at the stairs
Tuilerie gazes intently at a spot a little up the stairs
Hundaquildo stands flanking the stairs and very nearly seems to assume some guard position, before he realizes what he is doing.

Tuilerie walks slowly to the spot
Almanulde watches Tuilerie and follows quietly
Tuilerie slumps down.
Tuilerie starts to cry silently
Tolmen watches alternating between looking to the entrance and Tuilerie.
Hundaquildo seems rooted to the spot, and hesitantly takes a step forward, and another, though there is a way he walks that seems unnatural.
Tuilerie closes her eyes and whispers, "Father... I never menat to..."
Almanulde looks down at her, "Do not faulter, friend, such a way cannot end here..When you stepped upon it so bravely"
Almanulde carefully places her hand on Tuilerie's shoulder
Tuilerie rises slowly
Almanulde nods "We shall follow you. It shall be easier this time."
Tuilerie turns around slightly and smiles weakly at Almanulde, "Thank you..."
Almanulde smiles back at her
Hundaquildo nods a little. "We all make mistakes in our past...terrible mistakes, sometimes."
Hundaquildo says, 'But that we...learn from them is the important part.'
Tuilerie stops
Tuilerie points at a still dark spot on the top of the stairs
Hundaquildo stares at the door. "They still hold..." But then his gaze wanders to where Tuilerie points.
Tuilerie says, 'Lintanaro..., 'Father...'
Tuilerie begins to cry.
Almanulde sighs quietly, "Would you wish to sing a parting song for him? Or perhaps a quiet whisper will say more of your sorrow?"
Tuilerie says, 'We never saw eye to eye'
Hundaquildo blinks, sudden revealation coming across his eyes. "Ai, he never spoke of--" he suddenly cuts himself off before he can say more.
Tuilerie says, 'You always disapproved of my choices in life, 'Yet I never ceased to love you...'
Tuilerie kneels and touches the ground.
Tolmen edges a little closer

Tuilerie opnes her bag and retireves a small amulet, 'This was my mother's...'
Tuilerie bends down and places the small amulet on the ground, 'Until we meet again...'
Tuilerie turns around and faces the others.
Hundaquildo looks at Tuilerie in sympathy. "It is a small gift, but a small speck of beauty among these ruins."
Tuilerie says, 'My mother said those very same words, 'Her spirit left her in RIvendell'
Almanulde gently touches Tuilerie's shoulder, "Then they are the right ones for his memory.."
Tuilerie says, 'She never got over the loss of Lintanaro', 'My father, 'One day I will show you where she laid down to rest rest... flowers covering the small mound'
Hundaquildo nods gently. "He was hard to love, but loved he was all the same."
Hundaquildo says, 'Tis a sorrow, though, that must come from this, from that love..'
Tuilerie says, 'My father was not a patien elf, 'We often argued'
Almanulde nods and looks away, her gaze hidden from the eyes of the others now, "My father served as a jeweller as well..Never he left the lands that were so beloved by him. And so his memory shall rest here along with his crafts.."
Tuilerie says, 'And it hurt my mother'
Almanulde sighs quietly
Tolmen smiles grimly at Tuileries words of patience.
Tuilerie says, 'I had to come here'
Hundaquildo shakes his head. "Oh no. He as not." He glances to the doors. "I stood guard outside here often, and I knew a few dozen of the smiths. Not closely, but still..."
Almanulde looks up at Tuilerie, "At times our paths are different and even those we admire and cherish cannot share them with us..Such are the ways of Arda."
Tuilerie says, 'This is the place I found him, still breathin, still heart beating... but he was unconcious'
Hundaquildo says, 'The fact that so many of them perished...it is always a wound.'
Tuilerie says, 'And I walked away, 'My mother gave me that amulet as her last breath left her..., 'I found her in the groves in the valley'
Hundaquildo glances at it once more.
Tuilerie says, 'And now it rests where my father drew his last breath'
Tolmen nods slowly.
Tuilerie kneels before the amulet, "Father forgive me... I only ever wanted to please you."
Tuilerie nods
Hundaquildo says, 'A part of me knows that there is little we can do to change Fate...yet I wonder if I had been standing my usual guard here on that day, if anything would have changed...if he might have lived.'
Almanulde watches Tuilerie with patience as gentleness dances within her eyes
Hundaquildo sighs softly. "Such things are better not to think about."
Tuilerie says, 'Please hir Hundaquildo, we cannot know that'
Tolmen says, 'Indeed not Hir Hundaquildo'
Tuilerie says, 'So many things happened here on that tragic day'
Almanulde shakes her head, "Then others would have perished..Our forces were to small to resist the wrath of the Enemy.."
Tuilerie looks out over the surrounding
Hundaquildo says, 'We cannot, yet even the smallest thing may be where the path changes. A watchful eye here and someone is saved, an angry word there and someone is sent to their death--" he stops again and shakes his head.'
Tuilerie says, 'When I got here, the worst was over, small bands of orcs roamed and plundered, 'I could move almost unhindered, 'Unchallenged'
Hundaquildo says, 'You were lucky.'
Tuilerie says, 'Yes'
Tolmen says, 'Very..'
Hundaquildo says, 'Many perished within the first assault alone...the fighting was terrible. The fires burned everywhere.'
Tuilerie says, 'It seems most of the orcs were going north... giving chase'
Almanulde says, 'Then your skill saved you. The flames were high..Seen from afar even as we fled..More radiant than the gilded domes of Ost-in-Edhil.."'
Tuilerie nods, 'Flames there were everywhere, 'And smoke, foul smoke'
Tolmen sighs.
Hundaquildo says, 'The sorcery of the Dark Lord...the very stones burned, as if they were made of wood.'
Tuilerie looks at Tolmen and gives him a sympathetic smile.
Almanulde nods
Tuilerie says, 'Yes..'
Hundaquildo says, 'It was challenge alone to simply outrun them..'
Tuilerie says, 'I cannot fathom what it would have been like... But when I arrived, everything was burning... and I saw no survivors, 'Except... my father and... The one who was the forefather of Nolandur, 'As I turned around and walked down these steps.., 'I heard the howling, the desperate howling of a small pup'
Hundaquildo sighs a little. "It is not a worthy day to talk of. Fire. Smoke. Death. Orcs. Screaming. A river of blood. That is all that needs to be said."
Almanulde nods, "Few were fortunate to flee..And then we thought that we shall perish from our grief..'
Tuilerie says, 'I found it sitting by the dead body of what must have been its mother'
Tuilerie looks at Nolandur
Tuilerie says, 'I brought it with me...'
Almanulde says, 'Nolandur the First..'
Tuilerie says, 'Nolandur here, is the 254th generation since then'
Hundaquildo glances at the dog. "Kind your heart was for it, young one. He is good to have you, as were his forefathers"
Tuilerie says, 'The kennel master in the vale took good care of him, 'Irony isnt it...'
Almanulde nods at Nolandur, "A faithful friend, as were those others of his line"
Tuilerie says, 'I turn my back upon my dying father, to take pity on a stray abandoned pup.'
Hundaquildo says, 'Would you prefer to have let the pup perish instead?'
Tuilerie sighs.

Tolmen says, 'Some would say the pup was innocent'
Tuilerie says, 'No, 'I couldnt, 'It is not within me to abandon those that need protection.'
Almanulde says, 'Those are of a different matter.., 'The tale of your father was doomed to end this day. The story of Nolandur has begun.'
Hundaquildo shakes his head. "There is enough death and blood in this world, and on that day. That you saved one is well enough, and the rest...shall be taken care of over the Sea."
Tuilerie says, 'Yet... I could never shake off the feeling my father accused me.'
Almanulde says, 'And as you were alone in your struggles, perhaps a companion was needed..'
Tuilerie says, 'This is why I had to come here and ask forgiveness, 'Yes... he was a comfort, 'Someone I could care for, 'I lost so many here... Gladron, my father...'
Almanulde nods, "All paths remain wise under the vision of the Valar. At last you shall be reunited with them as well."
Hundaquildo nods. "You could care for little else, and so many efforts were for naught...to have at least one victory is orthy."
Tuilerie nods at the words of Almanulde, 'Yes, hir Hundaquildo'
Tuilerie looks back one last time, her gaze lingering at the amulet on the top of the staris, 'It is time, 'Gladron still remains'
Tolmen says, 'Aye'

Tuilerie says, 'I am convinced he is still alive and has not left these lands'
Hundaquildo says, 'Did you have another dream?'
Tuilerie nods a little, 'I did... and I return to the very same shore where I was once saw his footsteps, 'Yet .. when?'
Almanulde says, 'Can you still not recognize the shore?'
Hundaquildo frowns a little. "Did anything change from the last time you dreamt it?"
Tuilerie looks at the others and smiles, "Perhaps we should return to the campsite"
Tuilerie says, 'Only the angle of the sun'
Hundaquildo says, 'Then whoever was there must have lingered there long...'
Almanulde nods, "The darkest hour of the night draws near..It would be safer to leave"
Tuilerie says, 'I think the shore is that of Forlindon'
Hundaquildo glances at the amulet again. "Are you certain?"
Tuilerie says, 'Mhm'
Hundaquildo nods.
Tolmen says, 'Well it's possible he may be waiting at the harbours there'
Tuilerie nods, "I have never been there myself, but the landscape is such that it is more to the south that north of the bay of Mithlond
Tuilerie nods, 'Let us return'

Tuilerie waves goodbye to her father
Hundaquildo says, 'Indeed, before the shadows lengthen further..'
Almanulde says, 'Perhaps you should travel there after we return to Imladris.'
Hundaquildo watches warily for enemies as they wade.
Tuilerie says, 'The fires is lit, let us warm ouselves'
Hundaquildo says, 'And back where we began..'
Almanulde sits down.
Tuilerie sits.
Hundaquildo seems to not mind the wetness of his boots and stands close.
Almanulde nods, "A warm fire shall do us well..The night is filled with cold"
Tolmen warms himself against the fire.
Hundaquildo looks above their heads. "The dome is gone...yet I cannot say my heart is sorrowful that Varda's gifts are revealed."
Tuilerie looks down, "I cannot know for certain where he has gone... There is one place I must check, another hidden place where we used to leave message stones.
Tuilerie looks south west, 'It will have to wait till it is daylight tho'
Tuilerie looks at Nolandur and smiles
Almanulde marvels at the fire thoughtfully, "Time we have..And so you should not hurry."
Hundaquildo thinks a little. "Indeed, we have done much today, and finding these messages of yours in the dark will be no easy task."
Tuilerie nods
Tolmen agrees.
You say, 'Today we have honored the ones that are not with us anymore'
You say, 'Yea'
Hundaquildo nods. "We have sent them off, given them the honor they were denied so long ago."
Almanulde nods, "Perhaps wine shall be shared in their honor?" Looks up at her husband
Tolmen says, 'We have...'
Tuilerie looks up, 'I am not a friend of strong drinks... but today I will make an exception'
Hundaquildo looks down at her and nods. "We likely have some, somewhere." He goes to look.
Tolmen says, 'Oh very well, I shall get my pack'
Tolmen limps off to the stablemaster.
Hundaquildo takes off his shield and weapons, laying them with great reverence and gentleness near his larger packs that he left earlier, before rummaging through them.
Nolandur settles down to rest behind Tuilerie
Tuilerie looks at Almanulde, 'Thank you for having a look at my stone'
Almanulde looks back at Tuilerie, "It was no trouble, dear friend."
Tuilerie chuckles, 'I found it benath my sleeping mat'
Hundaquildo returns with a skin of wine in his hands, and a wooden drinking bow,. "Not many cups, I am afraid," he says as he pours some wine.

Almanulde nods, "Indeed..I bear hope that clearer dreams shall come to you with time."
Tuilerie says, 'Thank you hir Hundaquildo'
Hundaquildo offers the bowl to Tuilerie. "You may have it, we shall share the skin."
Tolmen speaks quietly with ;target and opens a pack on his horse stowing away the items and taking the last Flagons of Pear-blossom Wine.
Tuilerie receives the bowl.
Tolmen offers everyone a Flagon of Pear-blossom Wine.
Tuilerie looks at the amount of flagons with astonishment that Tolmen has brought with him
Hundaquildo hands the wine skin down to his wife. "Here, it whispers of Imladris still."
Hundaquildo raises an eebrow to Tolmen and chuckles, accepting one.
Tuilerie raises her bowl, "To those that remained here."
Almanulde smiles at the mention of Rivendell, "Sweet whispers those are. A honey to the memory of those we honor tonight." Lifts up the wine skin.
Almanulde takes a drink.
Tuilerie sits with Almanulde.
Almanulde sits down.
Tolmen produces a tankard and accepts some of Hundaquildo's wine.
Hundaquildo drinks. "To those gone"
Tuilerie sets the bowl down in front of her.
Hundaquildo smirks and gives him a pour of it.
Tolmen toasts to those gone.
Hundaquildo merely shakes his head and drinks deeply from his wine again.
Tuilerie heaves and it is not a pretty sight. Disgusting, 'Oh sorry'
Almanulde says, 'May their deeds remain in our memories as we bring those to the West to meet them at last.'
Tuilerie wipes her mouth, 'The wine is a little strong'
Tolmen says, 'Too strong for delicate stomachs'
Tuilerie sits.
Hundaquildo says, 'I take little else.'
Tolmen says, 'Indeed stronger the better...'
Hundaquildo lets out a quiet breath and goes to pull down his hood.
Hundaquildo sits with Almanulde.
Tolmen removes his cloak and sets it on the ground.
Tolmen carefully lays his weapons on his cloak and covers them over from prying eyes.
Tolmen sits with an audible groan.
Tuilerie spreads her bedroll before her.
Hundaquildo looks to Tolmen, still drinking quietly as he watches the flames and thinks.
Tuilerie wraps her blanket around herself.
Tolmen meditates.
Hundaquildo takes his cloak and wraps it around his wife.
Tuilerie looks at the others, and seeing them cozy, smiles warmly.
Hundaquildo catches her gaze and offers a rare smile, though the flames reflect memories lurking in his eyes.
Tuilerie wraps her blanket tighter around her and rests on her sleeping matress.
