Today was a good day at the bakery, yes a wonderful day. I sold eight whole cakes, and then.. six slices to children. I gave four slices to the children who did not have the money, it is ok. I will pay for it. I like the smiles on their faces when they eat the cake. It tells me I've done a good job.
I'm going to be walking home soon, or rather my tent. I hope a friend hasn't rummaged through it for food. I no longer sleep on Kellyns floor. Too many people spread rumors. She's a friend, just a friend. I'm going to sleep in my tent from now on. I don't know how much when I will have enough silver to buy a big bed, or land, or a house.
I did not go to my tent, I heard chickens. I heard the slight buzz of a beehive. I found a woman, pretty woman. She is short but sweet, and has a very kind heart. Her name is Kithri she said she will let me stay in her house. It is not full of furniture, but I will help. She deserves it, she's very nice. We went and checked on my tent so I could get my things. It was destroyed. There were some hooded men who said they didn't want me around, I got a message.
Soon we were back in the house, before the hearth. Warm and cozy, we talked for hours. She's a very interesting person, very sweet. She's understanding, and wants to travel with me. Soon she told me about a man, that she fears for me. I tell her I'll protect her. No one would hurt a woman so sweet. That's wrong, very wrong.
I will be her Guardian.
