Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? Oh, goodness. I suppose losing Pa and Ma...or my leg going bad.
30. Who has had the most influence on you? Pa and Ma!
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Hmm. I don’t think I have much to brag on, but that’s all right. I’m right proud of getting here to Boarding House and working here. I love it, I think I’m fair good at it.
32. What is your greatest regret? Gosh...umm. Probably my...my relationship with my brother...
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done? I’d like to think I haven’t ever done anything evil!
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind? Goodness, nay!
35. When was the time you were the most frightened? Frightened. Hmm. I can’t rightly think of anything off the top of my head, sorry. Oh, half a moment, aye I can! A few months back, my leg were going worse, and it needed a surgery. I thought for a while that I might lose it altogether, but as you can see, it's still here! But that were terrifying.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you? Oh, gods, I embarrass myself about a dozen times a day! What to pick… most embarrassing EVER? Probably asking someone for a favor what I thought were my friend, and turns out they weren’t.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? Pa and Ma wouldn’t be gone.
38. What is your best memory? Hmm. Can’t pick just one. Anytime I were home with Pa, Ma, and Emory, and we were all happy and laughing. More recently though, dancing with Mister Tarvarthal and Master Tumunir!
39. What is your worst memory? Probably the day I broke my leg...
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? Fancy words you’re using there. Optimistic means hopeful, aye? That one.
41. What is your greatest fear? I’m really not afraid of too much. Something bad happening to someone I love, I’ll say.
42. What are your religious views? My what?
43. What are your political views? Huh? Politic...that’s like laws and such, aye? I don’t know. Folk should be honest and fair and just. Doesn’t really need to be more complicated than that!
44. What are your views on sex? I beg your pardon!? *awkward chuckling* Emm. Should be something husbands and wives do.
45. Are you able to kill? All right, that’s going a bit far! Do you ask everyone this question? Odd… I don’t know! Could I… if I had to? To protect myself or a friend? I don’t know. I don’t want to think about it.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? Oh, goodness. I’d rather not think on this, either.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? Hmm. True love, aye. Soul mates? Like, one soul just for another? I’m not sure on that one.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life? Work hard, be honest, don’t complain. And be kind to people. Never enough kindness in the world.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I’m always honest. That is, I don’t always say everything I think and feel, but I don’t lie. I don’t think I’m very good at hiding things, but I think that’s a good thing.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices? I’m sure I do, but nothing that springs right to my mind.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? I can’t imagine I’d ever lie outright. Or hurt someone unless it were to protect myself or someone I love. Lots of things I wouldn’t do unless it were desperate. But that wasn’t the question, was it? It’s hard to say what someone would NEVER do till they’re put to the test on it, I think.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? To keep someone I love safe.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Well, I’d certainly hope it’s politely! I don’t think of myself as rude. I hope I’m not. Eh, some folk are better kept at a distance.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? Oh, goodness. Um. Well. I...I’m not sure. There are quite a few that are important to me! I should say Missus Holbrook, without her, I wouldn’t be here or have a home or a job! And... well, Master Tumunir is dear to me. I’d be heartbroken if anything ever happened to him. I have other friends, too, but we don’t want to be here all night, do we?
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? Hmm. Gosh. Maybe Missus Hopmead? She’s the sweetest lady, and works hard, and does so much for people. Or maybe Master Maurr. I’ve never, ever met a kinder, warmer soul. Gods, now I’m going to cry because he’s going away...
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? *chuckles* Well, I would name Master Tumunir my best friend, I think. I love him to pieces. And we’ve been through some stuff, let me tell you! But would he call me his best friend? I don’t think so. Dwarves are odd folk. I don’t open up so easily to people anymore, so it’s hard to feel like anyone is a “best” friend sometimes.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. Oh, goodness, nay, I don’t!
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened. ...nay...I haven’t been. Not really.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover? These are clearly the questions to make folk blush! A lover! Gracious. Can I just work on getting courted or kissed first? *giggles* All right, all right, a serious answer. Emm. He’d have to be good, and kind. Honest and hard working. A good sense of humor, but not silly.
60. How close are you to your family? Oh. Well. My parents are gone, of course. And that just leaves Emory. He lives in Bree. I...haven’t talked to him in a while.
61. Have you started your own family? Lands, nay!
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? Missus Hopmead, Master Maurr, Master Tumunir, Mister Tarvarthal, Mister Doc.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? Aye, I do. All of my close friends. I know they’d never let anyone hurt me. Master Maurr and Master Tumunir especially. They’ve proven themselves.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you? The same people I’ve just mentioned, I daresay! And likely the other people what board at the Boarding House.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? I don’t think I despise anyone.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? Hrm. I’ll speak my piece, sure. But I don’t like arguing and I hate fights or shouting.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? I wouldn’t say so.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? Nay, not really! I’m a quiet sort for the most part. Crowds make me feel tiny and even more quiet.
69. Do you care what others think of you? Well, in a way, aye. I think anyone who says they don’t care at all what anyone thinks, is a bit of a liar.
