Log 3: Entry 9

Patient: Human, male, adult
Symptoms: Bite, dog, rapid
Treatment: Remove two fingers
Meeting: Three days

Mister Bilberry came in to have me look at his hand. I was told that a dog bit the hand at least a week prior and the man didn't think much of it until now. I'm still surprised he didn't come sooner, when the skin began to change colour.
There's no doubt in my mind that this is Infirmary Gangrene and his fingers will have to be removed, if I'm to stop it from spreading through his hand further. Two fingers will be better than the entire hand or arm.

Miss Sol visited me at the barbershop not long after the surgery. It's been awhile since I've seen her last. We had a pleasant talk.

I remember having had many thoughts before I fell asleep, I can't recall all of them. I thought about my staff, miss- Blackburrow, Sol and Rushwood. Mister Bilberry's treatment and others before him. These are a few thoughts I recall but none in detail.

There was no dream.
