Log 2: Entry 8

Patient: Hobbit, female, adult
Symptoms: Stiffness in the joints, left arm and knees.
Treatment: Willow bark tea, bark to chew on
Meeting: In a week if symptoms continue

Miss Oakbottom visited the Soothery complaining about "creaking" joints. There's been no change in her work, but in the past months she's made minor changes to her diet. I've given her Willow Bark tea to drink in the morning, noon and before she rests in the evening. Few strips of barks were given, should she need them during her work hours.

Miss Ruevir has run off. I knew it was a bad idea to let her sleep outside but there's nothing I can do now. Mister Bild has offered to try searching for her, hopefully he'll find the woman. However, I can't be certain whether he'll bring the woman back here or to the elf. If it's the latter, I fear that everything I've worked towards may be undone.

I've hired a new apprentice, a scholar, miss Fletcher. She's taken interest in the making of medicine and her skills as a scholar will help me greatly. I've asked her to copy some of my books, for her and mister Bíld to take and learn from in their own time.

Miss Taite came by with the curtains. Now all I have left to do is to build something to hang them up around the beds. Should offer patients some privacy if I ever end up with more than one here at a time.
