The Prancing Pony

Many of the details were inspired by the Bell Inn, the real-world inn in Moreton-on-Marsh on which Tolkien based the Prancing Pony, which I had the fortune to visit (and stay overnight at) a few months ago. Reference images used for these details: front, courtyard. See also the full-sized drawing.
