Around Dol Guldur, there are many perilous places, and many dangerous areas.
But to enter the Drownholt even the Orks loath.
A vast swamp, reaching for many miles from Amon Angened unto the southern slopes of the Tower of Dark Sorcery.
The Drownholt does not like visitors. The Drownholt holds no friends. Everybody within the reach of the Drownholt is a survivor. The sickness of Dol Guldur has almost completely overcome the forces of nature at this place. The corrupted flora does not offer any help to the travelers but hardship and suffering.
