Journal Entry Two (Continued)

Of course, I did not necessarily mind the conversation going on such a topic; I surely do not mind now. It was somewhat painful at the moment, as I deeply wished Ynna had stayed in Bree. I had only spoken with her for a moment, but she is such a lovely person. At any rate, we began speaking of Ynna and I did not hold my tongue. Much. I spoke of how I felt as if something terrible was to happen to Ynna, or it already had. Lady Cesistya inquired as to why I did not act on such feelings and ride to find her. Not many would ask such a thing, but she does care and truly wished to know. I had been thinking about riding after Ynna and making sure she made it safely. I, of course, could not stay in Rohan with her, but at least she would be alright. After speaking for a moment on such a matter, she had pushed me over the tiny ledge which kept me from pursuing Ynna. I left the next morning, as the sun began to rise in the sky. My leg had healed most of the way, and I had a horse, so it was no real folly. My first inclination was to head to Rivendell and inquire which path the group had decided to take to Rohan. I followed that inclination and rode directly to Rivendell. I trusted most of the elves there, as I had stayed there for many months when I fled Gondor. The journey to Rivendell was near a week long and so terribly lonely. It was well worth it when I arrived, as I found Ynna was IN Rivendell. I found her after a few hours-such a lucky streak- and she remembered me immediately. I found no party members of hers in Rivendell and asked her of her journey. It was such a good thing I went, for her journey was a disaster! They met an evil woman in the Trollshaws who seduced Ynna somehow and attacked a friend of Ynna's, using Ynna herself as an excuse! Such a wicked thing to do! To earn the trust and admiration of such a gem so quickly, then use her and toss her aside! It angers me deeply. She somehow got Ynna to go with her into hiding, then she abandoned her! So, with no one to turn to and no real idea of a place to go, she returned to Rivendell. A place she knew she'd be safe. I found her there and she told her tale to me. I now sit in a room in Rivendell, writing as she sleeps. I believe we shall come up with a plan tomorrow. She was going to leave the morning after I arrived...I had left with barely enough time. Fate favors me suddenly, which is not an ill thing. Goodnight. ~Drubainbess
