Captains entry: April 18th

I road to the jail and found my people among other protesters. Finally the people foreign had enough of this neglect and constant hate. Though when i walked among them and saw the yelling and weapons, it brought me back to the chaos of a battle field. I wouldn't let there be blood shed, id die before either charged with deadly force. I requested to speak to the captain of the watch, I was battered with insult and told to go home, that all my people were cowards for leaving. It was not my choice..but I wish they'd understand more. They know nothing of war and our hardships, they haven't had monsters run through their town and burn everything and everyone, this woman had not had seen her spouse and child slaughtered in front of her eyes..that can break even a strong man. But I understand their anger, we are foreign and I know we bring many of our personal ideals and we sometimes over look the law and what Bree has decided to be right. We could do better on respecting it but respect goes both ways. Finally another watcher stepped out, while was insulted and my people ridiculed, the watcher named Corrben brought Raven and I to speak inside. The other watcher name aldabert was much more blood thirsty and wished to fire arrows on the protesters and cause a fight. I am glad Corrben is wiser and more even headed. He is acting leader of the watch currently and once we talked we came to a peaceful compromise. Finally i feel the watch and foreigners may have better ground to build trust on. Though this Aldabert worries me, he is one who rather violence and insult rather than peaceful compromise, I hope this captain can keep him on a leash so he doesn't ruin our fragile trust we are building. I was proud of my people, Floridah took charge when I went to speak and not one blade was raised even when I knew the insults cut deep and anger rose. I appreciate their loyalty and calmness. My wife also, she never gave up on her pursuit to deliver word of this child murderer comstock, even when she was brushed aside by other watchers. Corrben heard her out and offered full help. I praise the man for speaking with us to avoid violence. I have hope but Raven did say it will be something to wait and see. Raven lead the gondorians and I am happy he did. He is a brilliant man and very respectable. Maybe the watch will try and use his expertise instead of denying it. Now comes to Aallan, I know this protest was long over do but it may of never made such a boom if Aallan would face what is happening. Miss Bryn never would of been jailed, and people never would of boiled with such emotion. I am disappointed in him, he needs to return and face this, perhaps if he does it will help strengthen our relations with the watch. Whether he comes or I lend my riders to help track him down, this must end. Much distrust comes from this very incident and I will not see more needless bloodshed and fighting. I'll wait, perhaps he will talk some senses or perhaps we must make him face this. Why must his friends suffer for him? I don't agree with that, I would never want my friends in such a situation.
