Gayle struggled as she carried a suitcase towards the entrance of her about-to-be former home. She wipes her forehead, letting out a soft sigh. She smiled, though, as her parents followed after her so they could give their goodbyes.
"Do you have everything, Abbigayle?" asked her mother. "You do have a long work ahead of you."
"I do, mother," said Gayle. "Don't worry though! I'm sure that if I need something, I could always get it myself."
"Make sure you stay safe, Abbigayle," said her father. "If everything doesn't work out, you still have a home to come back into."
"Thanks, father," smiled Gayle. "I'll make sure I'll make you both proud! And uhm... If you see my friends or something, tell them to send me a letter or something" She turns around as soon as they hugged her, grasping her suitcase tightly, "Well, I'm off!"
With a wave of her hand, she moves to leave her former home. From that moment on, it was time for the young adult to spread her own wings and fly. Her mind goes to a certain man that awaited her and smiles at the thought. With a nod, she moves to walk away and towards her new home.
