Those who foresee,
their life beyond here,
seek to go to the One's Hall,
Shields and spears,
meat, beer and mead,
It's for those who honor chose.
To the Hall of the Fallen go the strong,
who's deeds and death,
forgetfulness denies.
They lived with honor,
and died as heroes,
in song and poetry they live on.
One day the final horn,
will announce the war,
men and gods embrace their fates.
At gods' side to die and fight,
where the old will wither,
and the new emerges!
To the Hall of the Fallen go the strong,
who's deeds and death,
forgetfulness denies.
They lived with honor,
and died as heroes,
in song and poetry they live on.
The sun and moon,
will rise again,
old foes become brothers then.
From the Gift of Men,
life and the urge to live,
return once more.
To the Hall of the Fallen go the strong,
who's deeds and death,
forgetfulness denies.
They lived with honor,
and died as heroes,
in song and poetry they live on.

Haul up the sail!
Blown into a bowl by the gale!
The sky is a blue lagoon!
This journey will be over soon!
The sailors merrily cheer!
Almost home for the children to greet!
Yet one of the men points at the horizon!
Clouds dark are covering up the sun!
The wind now viciously beats ...
Intending to splinter the mast furiously!
The once open sea...
send waves the size of monsters to devour!
The ship spins in this storm!
I roar out as half of us lose their oars!
Men cry out in panic on the deck!
When we're swept up in the air!
Our ship raises up it's snout!
Men are sent tumbling from it to drown!
Lost we are to the ocean's floor!
We were so close to our shores..
-----------------------------
I strode on this earth,
together with my wife,
precious she was to me,
birthed for me my offspring,
This was my reward.
I tilled the land for plenty,
and accumulated coin for prosperity,
Crafts were in my hands,
Few tools in my old age,
are unknown to my fingers.
My honor must be unbroken,
this out of love for my kin,
and my bloodline yearns it.
The cost of the soul is an expense,
too great to repay.
I fight for my own and home,
tis man's domain to war,
My heritage, is not mine to cast aside.
Even if I fall in the attempt,
my blood enriches the soil.
I open my eyes anew,
I breathe deeply,
a man demands a tale to share,
I speak of it and he opens a door,
The Light takes me!

Endless winter,
the earth frozen cold.
Discord and war,
rife in the realms of Men.
Brothers turning upon eachother,
no Man will spare the other.
Predators will eat their fill,
sicknes will wither flesh.
A deep Darkness,
envelops the world.
The High One looks on creation,
as he cries out.
The lord of Blackness returns,
his host is coming.
The sun turns black,
in sea the earth sinks.
From the heavens,
bright stars are crashing.
Steam and fire,
are intertwined together.
The heavens split asunder,
by a pillar of flame!
The horns will blare,
for gods and for Men.
With fury in their heart,
monsters will come.
The noble will march out,
armed with only bravery.
Evil fought,
by sons and fathers.
The final battle in the coming,
Wolf-time, Sword-time,
the earth burns,
the moon shudders,
A day of Darkness,
a day of blood,
a day of heroism,
and brotherhood.
The sun turns black,
in sea the earth sinks.
From the heavens,
bright stars are crashing.
Steam and fire,
are intertwined together.
The heavens split asunder,
by a pillar of flame!
Fate, images of the End,
Loneliness and ferocity.
The doom of the gods,
the earth burns.
The End and the Begin,
a new sun will rise.
Gods shall be reborn,
the earth blooms once more.
----------
On the wood I am placed,
as I've spent my finals years.
Lifeless, resting for my journey last,
descendants carry my legacy on this earth forth.
When the smoke to the heavens rise,
and ashes the ground will guise.
Burning wood, flames feast on my bones,
Mourn me then, fruit from my loins.
To the halls of death,
the fire shall guide me on my path.
Waiting for my journey bold,
lies my body stiff and cold.
When my spirit from flesh is freed,
and to what lies beyond will speed.
To the halls of death,
the fire shall guide me on my path.
Between earth and the sun,
where once my life begun.
Survived after my passing,
only the deeds from life now lasting.
In the trail of my lineage long,
lies the echo of my people strong,
Stone and song will carry my memory,
as my children continue this legacy.
To the halls of death,
the fire shall guide me on my path.
--------
Valknutr how is it you came?
My passage on earth,
through bramblebush,
over fierceful gale.
What brings you?
Announced with chilled spines,
sweat and blood,
flowing wild.
Oh creature cruel..
Oh spirit, in my mind..
What magic made you?
Songs of eternity,
the cause of panic,
and serenity.
Then I know I am doomed..
Spinning, spinning,
the yarns of lives,
children, pets,
Husbands and wives,
craftsman and kings,
born to die.
Singing, singing,
of harm and ire,
sickness and affliction,
of frost and fire,
laid low by bow and sword,
snapping their life's rope.
Must I tell then of my tale?
You have one to tell,
it is the only way,
to break my spell.
A small price...
To be at peace.

The grave is horrible to every knight,
when the corpse quickly begins to cool and is laid in the bosom of the dark earth.
Prosperity declines,
happiness passes away
(and) covenants are broken.
