The Shadow Walkers: An unexpected meeting.

Katrandil haven't been sleeping much anyway, she had more serious matters on her mind. Anyway she decided to stay silent as it weren't the others' concern. She ventured back to the edge of the ruins, overlooking them. In silence she stood inspecting the surroundings as well, still lost deep in her thoughts. She knew that they should leave the ruins as soon as possible.
The others woke up not long after her and first thing they did was checking where she went to ensure that she didn't left them alone in the ruins. Ornessar spotted her not far from them and stood up, then walked closer a bit. "Are you alright?" - He asked, clearly concerned by the ranger's silence. He knew that she was more a listener but never was that silent like she was then. The Forngarmo nodded but said nothing in return, anyway Ornessar was not sure if he should believe her in that and stayed silent as well. Suoma kept observing the two in silence then focused more at the elf. "Is it alright if I still talk to her, or is it allowed to talk with a queen?"- She then asked, not sure if she can talk to the woman like before. Katrandil laughed deep inside everytime she was called a queen, but no one was able to see it. "Of course you can talk to her." - He finally answered and then the the hobbit smiled in relief. The woman remained silent as they stood up overlooking Fornost again. Ornessar looked at her. "Are we leaving?" - He asked, focusing on the views. Galad nodded. "Yes, we should leave those ruins before the nightfall" - She finally spoke, answering her friend's question then started to walk again.
And then the three went back towards the entrance, but slowly this time to avoid being ambushed. They wandered down the ruins, observing the devastation of the Ruins. Soon they reached the main gate and untied their horses. Then they moved away from the ruins riding through the dangerous Fields of Fornost towards the Evendim Gate.
The fields were covered with a fog, that was making their safe passage harder. It was also making the place darker, even during the daytime. Katrandil kept guiding them through the safest passages through the fields as even the main road leading to Evendim was not safe. The three stood up on the hill. "Watch out for the dead around.." - The woman finally spoke, to warn her companions about the danger. The tone of her voice was cold, possible to feel it if one was knowing her good enough. "ugh, I Wonder why they are haunting" - The hobbit finally asked, looking around and spotting some ghosts in a distance. "There are some legends." - Ornessar said towards the hobbit after a moment. "Connected to Fornost as well." - Katrandil added as she heard Ornessar. He nodded. Suoma wiped her face then saw the elf looking into distance.
They then moved further. Katrandil stayed silent again, letting the others talk. "I assume we're not in Evendim yet, atleast from the stories I've heard" - Suoma said towards them, hoping for a quick answer and also for that the views she is currently seeing are not those she wanted to see yet. "We're near Lake Evendim." - Ornessar answered after a moment then looked ahead again, as they continued to follow The Forngarmo. "No, we're still in North Downs." - The ranger added after a moment. The elf then nodded as they went further. "Glad to hear it, I swear these weren't the sights that I had in mind when going on adventure to that place" - The hobbit said and sighed in relief.
They were half way from the gate as Katrandil stopped on the way. They looked at her, confused and not knowing what was going on. "Look... " - The woman said, motioning to the figure ahead which appeared to be not one of the dead.
"Oh my that is no ghost" - Suoma then said, seeing the figure the same as the ranger did. Galad decided to wander closer, staying on her guard and Ornessar keept his eyes on her. The man then waved to everyone. "Gondorn? Is that you?" - The Forngarmo asked as she recognized the man.
But was it really him...?
