Captain's Quick Report: The Andune Ensemble at the Yard Party
Gather did Hobbits, friends, and familiar faces this day to hear the sounds and songs of the Andune Ensemble, a band of musicians whom frankly have I not had the pleasure to attend their performances in the past from what I can recall -- but their name has appeared often to me over the years; gossiped as having been often part of famous tidings from far away lands where 'Eagles' soar constantly, and things such as 'Weatherstock' and much more happen annually each year. Some of their Hobbit members are quite frequent among our own lands as well, often visiting other events throughout the Shire and being a well-known face to many fellow Halflings of their kind no doubt.
And it was to the Bird and Baby Yard Party today did the Andune Ensemble, assemble -- clothed in a deep shade of blue these famed musicians brought a large number of stirring songs to raise the heart, cherish slowly with great soothing calm and beauty to the ears, and more than a handful being quick-stepping melodies that carried forth the tradition of lively dancing and joy by audience and band alike! Why, there was even one particular song that was told a most peculiar story complete with a well-executed performance by the singer! They must have rehearsed greatly to sing each line and accompany nearly each sentence with physical action and gesture so quickly, and to such a fast song it was too!
This was a most splendid example once more of how such events as the Bird and Baby Yard Party, among so many other fine events throughout the land -- continue bring together an opportunity to take refuge from our long journeys or work, and enjoy an outstanding time of great melodies, harmony, and spirit among friends from near and far; and to welcome new faces as well where we can. Well done! Well done!

P.S.
The Bramblebury Gazette, a publication originating from the Shire, has currently listed a number of the planned musicians and bands invited to upcoming Bird and Baby Yard Party occasions this Month. There is some sort of odd mention about 'Socks' as well, another event both advertised there and upon even local posters around Bree-town too! The next OAKS (Oldfurlong Amazing Koncert Series) will also happen in but a few weeks. Before that, there is to be a return of 'The Hope' within the next days to the Bree Festival Grounds for another planned musical performance. There is plenty to do, and much to try and prepare for... that is if my schedule allows it! Hohoho!

Viewing the albums embedded below is more geared for those folks looking to get a /slightly/ more play-by-play spirit of how things unfolded. In fact, I only recommend having a browse through if for some reason, you have an urge to well... just look at a lot and lot of screenshots -- many more of the shot angles/perspectives being repeated in other screenshots but at different times during the event, etc!
