Captain's Quick Report: the Shire Tramps at the Yard Party
All my traveling seems to have caught up with me of late; delayed and recovering from an ill-cold have I upon these last few days – couldn’t finish writing the quick report deserved of the Shire Tramps just days ago at the Yard Party… hence the Bird and Baby Yard Party each week in Michel Delving, that is! Hoho!
But with my strength a little better now, I can at least submit this brief report to the Archives to confirm that what music and lovely time happened back then with the Shire Tramp musicians ( only two make forth the band actually, but splendid still they ever are! ) plying forth their instruments to songs and musical tunes for the attending audience – it was as truly a lovely experience as ever that comes to be when such folk gather together. No doubt the Green Dragon Fridays, which just recently celebrated it's 8th Anniversary, is a much more long-lived example of Hobbit lively partying and gathering cheer; yet with the Shire Tramps, and those others whom traveled to attend this week’s Bird and Baby Yard Party – this was a magnificent taste of what these Shire-Hobbits bring together in culture, atmosphere, and this abundant welcoming friendship when you have many of the Little Folk in one place, in significant number! Friendly faces both familiar and new, made for hence a most outstanding time.
That day with the Shire Tramps was a fine one to remember. And though I fell sick with the cold on my way back, I did manage some rough sketches and colorings from the event itself, which I now attach to this report – having rested and recovered slightly now from my sneaking cold, hoho!

(( Disclaimer: Hello folks, I'd like to caution you that taking a look at the embedded slideshow coming up below will likely not go too well if your in a hurry, and hoping to just get a 'general gander' at what the event was like. The 'Overview Collection' above is more suited for that!
Viewing the album embedded below is more geared for those folks looking to get a /slightly/ more play-by-play spirit of how things unfolded. In fact, I only recommend having a browse through if for some reason, you have an urge to well... just look at a lot and lot of screenshots -- many more of the shot angles/perspectives being repeated in other screenshots but at different times during the event, etc! Thanks for reading. ))
