Captain's Quick Report: Crazy Ladies perform at the Yard Party
Those drinks sure are strong, the ones them Elves seem to be known for… my head still blurs into faint vision once upon awhile this night! But the Yard Party and those Hobbits, with guests and visitors from elsewhere as well, was as welcoming and fine an atmosphere as ever when I arrived many hours ago to Michel Delving.
Quite on time I was as well, for the first song did I not miss, and even a good part of the opening introductions introducing the musicians as well; the Elven maidens of ‘The Crazy Ladies of the Forest’!
It must be that strange magic and beauty which surrounds their graceful presence; but even the gently Shire rains pouring down for a good part of the musical melodies did not take from the atmosphere, but instead, in this ol’ Bree Captain’s books, surely felt like a more beauteous setting even more than before. Many were enchanting and gentle tunes, and a handful others fairly enlivening of the hearty jig or dance to accompany with. And throughout, as outstanding as ever, was the combination of cheering audience, musicians of fair hearts, and everything more that has continued to make these ‘Bird and Baby Yard Parties’ such the wonder it has been to attend on my part, when schedules allow and the long journey from Bree-land is privileged.
Despite the weather, I had been able to sketch a number of rough colorings that as I rest here in the Shire for the night, I have already begun to organize into necessary collections and wrapped packages to be delivered alongside this early report for the Archives.
Put on forth by Hobbits, but a rare opportunity open to all whom might dare make the journeys from farther lands outside the Shire, the ‘Bird and Baby Yard Party’ is filled with a warming spirit that beckons future visits from you, dear Reader, if you might put the thought to consideration!

P.S.
I have heard elsewhere that Hobbits have also completed the choosing of a new Shire May Queen, one by the name of ‘Miss Pycella’, or ‘Queen Pycella’ so an excellent article in the Bramblebury Gazette reports. Apparently rains were stopped at her command, and Princess Hobbits also were declared alongside the occasion!
While reporting on Shire-Hobbit affairs and related events upcoming over yonder in this land across the Brandywine, the Bramblebury Gazette also covers things called burrow-warmings, and other local happenings such as the soon 8th Green Dragon Friday anniversary parties, which, from what I hear, is a most important occasion for Hobbits across the Shire that have lived in these lands for many years, and been partaking in Hobbit-like activities their fellow kind so bring to places like the Green Dragon Inn, every week, for nearly the last half-decade and more!
I must rest this night, then, be on my way swiftly back for Bree upon the morning; for there are events such as the "Shadow of the Great War" and “The Hope. Balrog's Footfall” being put forth by the ‘Polnolunie’ musicians -- and of course there will be preparations I have to make to attempt a return journey to Oldfurlong later this Month, for the promising ‘Forest of OAKS’ rumoured to happen. But first, a good night’s sleep to ease my head from all these Elven wines! Though surely I only took less than a sip from each bottle… well… perhaps maybe a full cup it was… or was it a whole bottle each? Goodness!

Viewing the albums embedded below is more geared for those folks looking to get a /slightly/ more play-by-play spirit of how things unfolded. In fact, I only recommend having a browse through if for some reason, you have an urge to well... just look at a lot and lot of screenshots -- many more of the shot angles/perspectives being repeated in other screenshots but at different times during the event, etc! Thanks for reading. ))
