Captain's Quick Report: To the Professor!

There must be many whom have heard of this fellow's birthday, and in awareness of his legacy, gathered in such large number upon the area in front of the Bird and Baby in Michel Delving -- that one could argue it was not real at all, but a dream surely -- so many folks of Men, Dwarves, Hobbits, and Elves... standing about and cheering; celebrating, remembering... honouring.

Amidst the crowd were toasts made, I'm sure a few speeches given, and finally a great setting about of fireworks that alit the sky and audience below with a glow of celebration.  There is very little I can think of to further properly describe these moments that passed outside that establishment in Michel Delving just hours ago, Master Reader.  As of this writing, my impression that event organizer, Master Ranatuor, an Elf whom seemed very busy throughout the spectacle -- is now leading the remaining party-goers to seek out the Master Ronald Dwale himself, to congratulate and cheer in person directly the entire reason for this event.

There is rest to be had by this ol' Bree Captain however.  The latter half of my entire rough sketches and colorings taken from the event ended up being blurred and stained by rain, to my dismay, that they all looked nearly the same in shapes and colours!  And so already there is much work ahead of me to sort through what remains intact, and then to attach with this letter safely packaged as a collection.

But there are many things elsewhere to turn our attention towards upon the near future!  The music band 'Little Wanderers' will be performing this coming week at the 'Marvel at the Little Wanderers, featured at the Yard Party'.  A few days later, it's rumoured that Miss Trincia, a wonderful Hobbit of adventuring spirit and many of her friends will be embarking on 'The Long Journey', riding from the distant Thorin's Hall to even more distant East Rohan.  There is also still confirmation that a 'Shire Wassail' will be taking place over in the Shire, particularly for Hobbits of course by nature of the location.  And finally if you should find yourself again on appropriate business to be within the Shire-bounds at the time, there is the planned 'Brockenborings to host next fishing competition' event on behalf of the Shire Angling Club with club president Master Ponso Pondhopper, events organizer Miss Penina Pondhopper.

And although my current edition of the Bramblebury Gazette, at this time of writing, does not yet include official, written articles with details for the Yard Party planned on the 21st of this month, and later the next OAKS concert on the 25th, if my memory serves me right -- the music bands and artists being invited to each respectively are supposed to be the Bara Bahau for the Yard Party, and the Bearded Muses for the OAKS concert.  Far as rumours have gone that this ol' Bree Captain knows about!  Hohoho!

Overview Collection

(( Disclaimer: Hello folks, I'd like to caution you that taking a look at the embedded slideshows coming up below will likely not go too well if your in a hurry, and hoping to just get a 'general gander' at what the event was like.  The 'Overview Collection' above is more suited for that!

Viewing the albums embedded below is more geared for those folks looking to get a /slightly/ more play-by-play spirit of how things unfolded.  In fact, I only recommend having a browse through if for some reason, you have an urge to well... just look at a lot and lot of screenshots -- many of the shot angles/perspectives being repeated in other screenshots but at different times during the event, etc!  Thanks for reading. ))

First Collection

(( Extra Note:  This time around, my computer/game client seemed to secretly bug/glitch out during the screenshot-snapping process around halfway through the event.  In-game it seemed like the screenshots were being recorded/saved to my screenshots folder properly, but afterwards when looking through the folder itself, all the screenshots taken after about the halfway point were duplicates of each other.  Exactly the same, as if the client/program/computer had stalled out and had kept re-saving the same screenshot over and over again each time I took a screenshot in-game after about the halfway point through the event.  What remained in good condition were only screenshots from when I was around the first half of the event.  Sorry for that, if you were expecting more coverage towards the end of the wonderful event where people travelled to visit the Ronald Dwale NPC himself in the game world!  I'll have to be more careful around taking screenshots for really big events like this!  Only happened at the really massive ones like Archet Aid and Forest of OAKS so far for me. ))
