First steps - The Nameless Twilight.

His body felt broken, his mouth tasted of sand and blood, still salty from the rivers water. He struggled to maintain conciousness and tried to push himself up from the cold shore.

"I expected greater from you brother, fear betrays you. My master has shown me much, he has shown me that no matter how bright the light seems to be. A candle can always be ousted." The man picked up his little brother by the throat, who was by now choking and struggling to breath as his feet dangled below.

"You see, even when you left me. Even if you were stronger than I, look around you my brother. Tell me, what do you see?"

Pellam's eyes had focused on his brother before looking to the hill that stood behind him. His eyes grew wide and he simply stared. They stood armored and armed, light hauberks of leather and chain emblazoned with the symbol of a great eye with crossed spears beneath.

"Yes, magificant isn't it my brother? My master has intrusted me with these men, a scouting force created and trained for one purpose..." The man looked looked back to Pellam with a sickly grin.

"This... Mere order, but a thorn in our side. Which will soon be removed. It begins, with you." The man hurled Pellam back onto the sand, watching him land with a thud before slowly picking himself back up.

"They do not even know that you exist, they do not even know you live. Why fight it? Why fight for them when you can rise a true son of darkness? Come my brother, join me. You will have a place beside the masters side, just as I earned." He extended his hand out to his little brother, watching him.

The Blackheaded Archer spat blood upon the sand, wiping his mouth and face with his sleeve while he stands. "I do not know, that if the next breath I take will be my last, or not. Does that mean I should stop breathing? I shall stand, and fight everyone of you or I shall die here trying."

The man shook his head and sighed, removing his coat as one of the men took it before he moved towards his brother. "It will be ashame that you have to die here just as our parents did. I envy you, for you will see them before I do. Remember my name little brother, for it shall be the last you here. I shall whisper it upon your last breath."

Pellam stumbled, kneeling slightly. His hand reaching for a small egg shaped object, The sand crunched before him as his brother advanced. The egg was slammed between his hands, before Pellam spun around and threw a fine dust in the air that seemed to sparkle and shimmer.

Fists flew wildly as the towering man tried to shield his eyes from the shards of glass that now clouded the air around him. Pellam's fists honed in on his spare ribs, trailing down to his hips as each blow connected with enough for that it staggered his brother backwards.

The Blackheaded Archer flung himself over his brother, a fist directed straight towards the man who still bore his coat just as an arrow pierced his side and threw him to the ground once more.

"You were always the quick witted one, brother." The tower man looked down to Pellam who was heaped upon the sand as crimson began to stain it and the water. "You how ever, are to late... The war, has begun."
