Captain's Quick Report: Traveling Bilberries at the Yard party

When we begin to see, with great comfort and not so much surprise, but instead joy, at seeing familiar names and faces become the main performers of an event or gathering -- then surely it can be said we have been blessed to know such folk from even before then; to when we are most familiar with them being individuals, as such in this case, whom often have shared with this ol' Bree Captain the simple role of audience and attendee to many events in my past.

And yet here today just a few hours ago it was them -- for once, but still uncommon in all my experience -- whom drew the attention of mine own and the onlookers around as the central figures of the afternoon, and evening, to watch and listen as they took to heart-warming stories through song and music.  From a tale about a particular Hobbit's cooking reputation in the kitchens, to memorable tunes in spirit of the weekly Bird and Baby Yard Parties itself -- there was plenty to tap your feet for, or more humbly sway in solemn thought.

Either way, an outstanding night that ended with a most lively setting off of fireworks, though there was a stern reminder being heard about such noise waking the young 'uns around Michel Delving... the audience seemed to quite heartily push onwards anyways to thank the Traveling Bilberries for their performance, and it was quite an ending worthy of their efforts and joy they brought to the audience this night!

P.S.

Plenty more Bird and Baby Yard Party events are planned for the coming months, at regular intervals quite often too!  The immediate forthcoming one to be with the newly formed Aleford Band, warmly featuring three Hobbit lasses honorably departed from former bands to strike out upon their own musical adventures!

Those hobbits on a distant but Grand Journey Home to seek out kin in the lands of Enedwaith should be soon passing from Ost Guruth to Rivendell sometime in the next days, and then closer back to ol' Bree are recent rumours telling of a 'Craft & Laugh with Daffadowndilly', a new weekly undertaking by an individual whom has goals to aid in bolstering the spirits and productivity of Bree's crafting community through friendly company, music, and conversational cheer.  Quite something this ol' Bree Captain is willing to admit sounds wonderful and much aligned with my interests to see in person, and perhaps even hone my crafting professions indeed after so long neglected!

And of course further into the weeks there is already a posting for the next OAKS concert on the Sixth day of next month, just after the rumoured 'Harvest Tales - Songs and Stories of the Harvest' to take place a few days earlier.  There is much activity arriving soon across the land as Summer sooner than ever continues it's change into the Autumn!

(( Disclaimer: Hello folks, I'd like to caution you that taking a look at the embedded slideshows coming up below will likely not go too well if your in a hurry, and hoping to just get a 'general gander' at what the event was like.  The 'Overview Collection' above is more suited for that!

Viewing the albums embedded below is more geared for those folks looking to get a /slightly/ more play-by-play spirit of how things unfolded.  In fact, I only recommend having a browse through if for some reason, you have an urge to well... just look at a lot and lot of screenshots -- many of the shot angles/perspectives being repeated in other screenshots but at different times during the event, etc!  Thanks for reading. ))
