Well my name day was certainly interesting the presents I got were amazing, Kat made me a carving of a mouse and bird the mouse being Yaluz and the bird Pip mine and Skelly's little song bird. I've been teaching Kat how to carve wood and it was an amazing gift to see how good she's got.
Skelly got me a beautiful bouquet of red and blue flowers in a vase which will go in my room at my house. He also gave me a silver ring with a blue gemstone in it, it's beautiful I can't stop staring at it. Uncle Basaran gave me some coin which is great since I can buy what I wish with it.
The gifts were amazing but the best thing was the party at the Dawn hall being surrounded by family and friends was great fun. Some parts were certainly interesting, like catching Gorlen and Piperel doing something they shouldn't be in Uncle Basaran's office.
Skelly and I snuck out of the hall to his office and had some time to ourselves. It was nice, I'm laying next to him as I write this. He's so peaceful and cute when he sleeps. I also spoke to papa yesterday about moving into the house Dristin had won for Skelly and I in the auction. Sadly he said he would not allow me to leave until I could prove I could look after myself afford my own clothes, food and things like that. Well he said I could leave of my own accord but that he wouldn't help me with money.
So my plan is to get Owen to continue teaching me to use my sword and dagger whilst I complete contracts for Uncle Basaran. Therefore this will allow me to hone my skills and prove my worth to Uncle Basaran, getting me better contracts and earning more money!
Which then means papa will approve of me living in the house with Skelly! Problem solved. I love Skelly so so so much and living with him is going to be amazing, we'll stay by each others side forever.
