While having a drink in the pony, I was confronted by Mandic, who told me about a man named Magpie who had just assaulted Mr. Deneric Cobb, a friend of Officer Nessya. Luckily the foolish dwarf standing near his drunk friend had called out the name, and I was able to point out the criminal. We chased Magpie down into a corner, at which point we apprehended him. I saw him safely to the jailhouse, and had him locked in the jail.The drunk continued to ramble on after being locked away, asking insulting questions and acting like an overall fool, he must have drank far too much or he ought to be locked away in the asylum. Luckily, the other watchers soon arrived, along with the dwarf and 2 friends, one presumably of the dwarf's. The other was another drunkard, Claery, who ran toward Magpie immediately. I was still guarding Magpie's cell through most of the questioning so I did not hear most of it, but later Nessya filled the position after I'd had just about enough of the drunkards. The detective friend and the dwarf, along with I believe the drunkard were allowed one day to find the real criminal, after repeatedly claiming to be innocent. Heh. I ought to start drawing up the wanted posters.
