Laying here with you.

Morrinth watches Skelcar as he sleeps, she laid over him as usual to make sure he didn't go anywhere her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat and his breathing. She smiled to herself thinking about their nights of star gazing and drinking.

She looked towards the window seeing it was still dark. Rin slowly and quietly got off the bed not wanting to disturb Skelcar's sleep, walking into the main room and out the door. Her bare feet pattering lightly on the cold stone porch.
She lit a lantern and took it over to the apple trees looking at them inspecting the apples until she found a good one picking it from the tree. Biting into the apple with a crisp crunch, closing her eyes and savouring the juicy taste of the apple.

She had always enjoyed the apples Skelcar grew they were better than the ones from the market in Bree. Since her baking lesson with Piperel she had considered taking a few to make another apple pie in hopes this one wouldn't be stolen from Skelcar's office.

Opening her eyes and looking up she saw the very things that brought her and Skelcar together. The stars in all their glory. They had always fascinated her not only were they beautiful but they were mysterious too. Only the gods would know what secrets they held. Finishing her apple with a slight shiver the cold air now getting to her she walked to the door of the house blowing the lantern out and hanging it back on the wall she went back inside.

She looked around the main room giving her eyes time to adjust from the light of the lantern to the dark house once more. Once they had done so she quietly walked back to the bedroom smiling when she saw Skelcar was still asleep. Rin climbed back on the bed laying across Skelcar making sure he wouldn't leave her as she slept.
