If a tale is told of the Scholar's Archive nearly being burned down, it was me. It was an accident! I don't know who left a candle sitting out where anyone could just.. Knock over the table it was on.
Alright, maybe it was my fault, but it was an accident! Amoryl would vouch for me; she was there. She's almost always there, now.
She recently told me the complicated web of truth behind her upbringing. I'm torn, knowing now she that she used to fall under the same faction as the Blackwolds. But in unison, I feel like I could trust her more, since she told me? Obviously she's a good friend to me, I know that much is clear.. The bits about her actual heritage, are a little unsettling, but can be overlooked. It will be overlooked, even.
I think everyone deserves a second chance, especially if it's clear they really do seek to change. Regardless of what I know now, I still see her as the same person - The happy-go-lucky aspiring bard with the weird foreign features, and the heavy impoverished Bree accent. That strangely reclusive socialite who seems always wary for something that never happens.
On another note, I keep hearing odd voices in my house, when I'm trying to sleep. I'm not sure if it's the wind, or something else. I don't believe in ghosts or anything, but it's becoming vaguely creepy.
