Journal Entry 27 - The Misty Mountain Campaign
The first part of the journey went smoothly, supplies were taken on the way out of the gateway that led to the mountains before making best speed towards Gloins Camp. It feels most odd travelling without out our mounts, this must be what it really is like being in an army like the Order of the Hammer.
Our route took us along base of the snowy ravine towards the High Crag where the forward scouts of the Vanimar had already scouted a suitable encampment point. The weather so far has been kind, I hope it remains so for in a few days time we start the climb towards Vindurhal and the second encampment.
Hir Veryacano is a solid commander, nothing seems to escape his eye as our joint company weaves its course. I worry for the Greenwood elves for they have already faced the unyielding force of the mountain once, I am not sure they are ready to face it again. But they are steadfast allies.
