Dir cartref y dynion bryn (Homeland of the Hillmen)

As Pren looks closer at the map of Dunland, more memories start to come to find though not of the men that live there but the land itself. The towns that lie in those lands and the clans that belong there..

The land itself has many hills; giving the name Hillmen. Cows and goats often seen grazing on the grassy slopes of these hillocks in summer and winter. Many trees and woods are also common, lumber camps being a common thing to see in some places. Some people say Dunland is split into sections, the North-East being snowy and cold as it is close to the mountains whilst the rest of the North has plenty of green hills and blue ponds. In the middle of these lands, it is both plenty in trees and hills. In lower Dunland, nearing the gap there are more valleys and mines. In the South-East there is a large forest, named the Gravenwood and in the South-West there is the Dunbog, a marsh-land.

Though there are small encampments all around Dunland, there are main villages and towns with different clans living there:

Lhan Tarren, the Hill-Village. Here the Stag-Clan live or the Caru-Luth in the tongue of Dunland. It is situated, as named, atop a hillock.

Galtrev, the Slope-Town. Here the Ox-Clan live, the Uch-Luth. It is ontop of a hill, a good deal of it running down the slopes on each side, hence the name Slope-Town.

Barnavon, River View. The Ox-Clan also live here, though smaller than Galtrev by a good deal. Next to a river whilst close to a mine.

Avardin. Once again the Ox-Clan live here, the home to the Culling Pit where many dunlendings go from allied clans to bet and fight.

Lhan Rhos, the Moor Village. The Avanc-Clan live here, in the middle of the Dunbog.

Tur Morva, the Marsh-Tower. The Falcon-Clan, or the Hebog-Luth live here. It is in the snowy part of Dunland. Towers of old lie there, giving shelter to those living there.

There are also other places that come to mind that have names, the wood near Galtrev, Pren Gwydh. The Loom-Wood as many things loom inside, wolves and boars. This wood is what built Galtrev.

Carregyln, the Stone-Valley. Where a few mines are maintained, the main supplier for the weapons the dunlendings use.

Trum Dreng, the Harsh-Ridge. There are many ridges and drops here, the land looking harsh and being harsh to those that are there almost.
