Greetings Dear Reader,
What follows is a written account of my journey north to Bree. It has been many years since this trek was made, thus, some details may not be precisely correct. Some events which are recounted, you will notice, I was not present for. How, then, am I to recount them? Well, those specific events are recounted based on the stories of my friends who were, in fact, present. For some, I cannot vouch for their honesty, though I doubt they would lie to me. In any case, it is my sincerest wish that you enjoy these writings. If you do not, then that is your opinion and you may stick to it like a feather to tar, if you will excuse the rather brash analogy.
