The soothing sound of the waterfall and the merry crackling of the campfire , such is the peace and quiet one can find in the Shire. And in the stillness of an early evening in the Eastfarthing there came a sound of song mingled with laughter. Clear voices drew nearer and rose under the starlit sky. " Elves! " I said to myself while hiding in a bush. So it was true, Elves really do come to the Shire in Autumn sometime.
