And so the great day has arrived. Making my way to Bag End I was met by Lobelia and Lotho Sackville-Baggins and asked for FIVE , yes five more silver spoons for the use of the gardens, as well as a long list of rules.....

LOBELIA'S RULES
* Children, ponies and goats must always be supervised by an adult
* Do not walk on green areas , also known as 'grass'.
* Ensure that the paving stones are used at all times.
* Soil and plants in the garden should NOT be handled unless authorized.
* Flowers and fruit must NOT be picked or eaten as this could damage the plant.
* All water taps, well, garden pond, including the washing sink and bird bath are strictly off limits.
* Climbing over the walls or walking through the gate on the far side of the garden is strictly prohibited.
* Unauthorized use of the barbeque is strictly prohibited.
* NO running or ‘rough housing’ in the garden, respectable hobbits live here.
* Maintain a noise level that is respectful. Rowdy noise, music and singing will NOT be allowed.
* Do not put chairs against the outside walls of Bag End or on the grass
* Make sure that doors are not propped open, the litter is collected, and the gate is locked when you leave.
