Tarrah

The hooded woman stood out vividly amongst the pink, white and lilac hues of the beautiful elven settlement of Duillond.  In contrast she was dark and brooding, likened to a shadow almost, but not the same shadow that Deredan had spoken of.  Nay she was a shadow that would hide from the evil that threatened Arda so that she may protect it's free people.

Neyaa and Deredan approached her, she was conversing with one of the Elves, she spoke Sindarin, as fluently as Deredan did.  Neyaa could not help but think this woman's demeanor and appearance was very much like someone she knew only too well, someone who had been on her mind a lot of late...Valindal, 'The Grey Warden'.  Their kind have a way about them, unmistakable to any who had been involved with them before and privileged to be taken into their confidence, a rare thing, a necessary thing or they would never be able to carry out their vocation in life.

The woman peered at them from beneath her hood, her grey eyes observant and keen, her wits sharp.  She offered up her name as Tarrah, she was astute, she knew that Neyaa suspected her heritage, but she remained courteous in her avoidance of Neyaa's leading and intrusive question's, never known for her tact.  Deredan sensed it too, he gently steered the conversation to that of a more general nature.

Galrandil Heruthain and his wolf

There was something about Tarrah that sent forth a shiver into the heart of Neyaa, something that reminded her of 'The Wolf', Gallrandil Heruthain.  Neyaa was quite convinced their paths would cross again and somewhere amongst it all The Grey Warden would be involved...

The Grey Warden and Neyaa met in secret back then and he told Neyaa his story.  They became close and he had learned to trust again, he even told her his real name...she would take his identity to her grave.

She would never forgive herself for what she did to him... to them...

She was thankful he was finally able to forgive her and repair their friendship.
