Attention Elves. Are you annoyed and tired of searching for Elves but being unable to find any so you have to resort to going to the Prancing Pony in Bree just to find other Elves? Where Elves are rarely ever seen?
This roleplay movement might be great for you then. The purpose of this movement is to allow Elves to finally connect with each other in areas that Elves would normally be seen in, such as Rivendell or Duillond. Where they belong!
-Gathering in Elven Cities
A daily event. There have been times set but there is no strict schedule. Always someone who will be there to meet with an elf and have a lovely chat in the Hall of Fire or a roaring adventure in the wilds of the Trollshaws.
-Living the Elf Life
The interactions between these Elves would be appreciated as through the works of professor Tolkien. Their daily lives, chats, songs, hobbies, etc. We would like to hope that the Elves would lean towards Tolkien's writings and remain true to them.
Any Elf at all is welcome at all, but we would like to keep this strictly Elves only please. We would hope that your Elf would follow in with the lore to keep up with the others. The reason for the creation of this movement was to finally unite the Elven rpers together in the Elven areas for them to rp. So many Elves are forced to go to the Prancing Pony in Bree due to lack of rp in actual Elven areas. Now Elves are, of course welcome in Bree, but rarely seen to visit at all. This is not a restriction by any means at all. This is an invitation to join other Elves in rp in Elven areas. We are not forcing you to join. Our goal is not to create an event where Elves gather and such. Not the likes of HoF and other global/server wide events. But our goal is to create a hub out of the deserted dwellings of the Eldar. Rivendell, Ered Luin, Celondim, Lothlorien, etc. And by creating those hubs, we bring life to these places and a regular RP basis of Elven life as it normally would be on a daily basis. Thus giving the opportunity for those who would wish to portray an Elf of Tolkien's lore to have another similar person to do so with at any given time in any of the dwellings of Elves.
Spontatenous rp is the main purpose of this. Whether it be just a light chat in The Last Homely House or a brave hunting session in the Trollshaws or just a couple of hunters wandering in the dark of Mirkwood. The hope is that if someone is looking for rp, there will always be someone there to rp with them, so that they dont have to go looking for it and end up with nothing at all.
This is not a kinship, just a roleplay movement. We have created a channel to make it easier for rpers to connect and find each other. In this channel Elves will be able to find other Elves who want to rp, but there will also be friendly discussions on Elven Lore and professor Tolkien's writings. Elves can be difficult to rp at times and one may have questions pertaining to lore. The hope is that their questions will be answered.
We are not strict at all, very friendly and welcome. There is no demand for you to be there all the time, everyday. We are very easygoing, this is just for the fun of rping Elves.
