Annsuel grew tired over the days. Attacks upon attacks, injuries upon injuries. She could only take it for so long. She gave up. Completely to the point she was ready to die, willing to die. A man who had attempted to murder her before found her once more, his name Fallang. When he held his knife to Annsuel, she wasn't afraid. She didn't even move. He punched her and wrapped his hand around her neck, but Annsuel had neither the strength northern desire to fight back.
She just sat there.
But then the man stopped and fell to his knees. "Why are you not afraid?" is the question he repeatedly asked. She didn't respond. And then his motivations changed. He began to talk to her, his words cruel, yet for some reason the got to Annsuel. She almost swore she believed him. "How many lives have I said by killing others?" But then Annsuel snapped back to her common senses.
She escaped, leaving her dagger in the man. Her side bleeding out, though she managed to survive. And then se decided she could take it no more. She went to the vaults and drew out fourteen gold and left it along with a letter for Harlyn. "Goodbye Indignation," she whispered, leaving the letter beside the bed in the Lowbanks estate.
And then she spoke to Fiontann, signing up to aid the Bloody Dawn. Sometimes in life, you have to quite complaining about your problems and make a change. Instead of complaining of her life in Indignation, she chose to leave her friends. Goodbye Indignation. Hello new life. Hello second chance. And hello The Bloody Dawn.
