"Sshhh, brodr..", a voice whispered from an overhanging branch. Wulfaz looked up, laying flat amidst the leaves of a great oak. There he could see a grin flashed at him, he knew well enough he would not have seen his twin sister in there had she not wished it so. His eyes went to overlook the other trees with their branches stretched out towards eachother, over the earthren road that was laid out beneath. He couldn't see a soul, but he knew well enough that there was atleast fifty men hiding amongst them. Wulfaz was nervous, the thrill of an oncoming struggle always gnawed at his innards and his heart raced. His fingers slid over the soft tough wood of the javelin he had in hand. "Three javelins down.. a horn, then you come down. Three javelins down, a horn, then you come down....", he repeated to himself in a barely audible whisper. Kenaz slid halfway down from her branch, still grabbing on with one arm whilst the other fell on Wulfaz shoulder, "Easy brodr cool your fiery heart for a moment yet.." He looked up again at the black shape she was, completely forgotten all about masking themselves in a firm layer of dark earth. He shrugged her hand off and she smiled before vanishing back up.
It was dead quiet then. Not a single sound disturbed it. It seemed to take ages upon ages, although the sun had barely moved since they had arrived. Perhaps they had been mistaken and guarded the wrong road now? Yet then, many faces twitched amongst the canopy. The marching of hundreds of feet coming closer with each trample.
Kenaz' eyes widened as she held her javelin. Beneath them packs of orcs stomped their feet in rythm, surely she had never seen such a large number of them. It had to be hundred and fifty atleast, counting the broad and length of the lines below. "Why hasn't the command been given yet?", she thought, "Do we have to let them pass?" She sighed relieve at the thought. "No need to risk our lives today.", she smiled for a moment.. then as her eyes trailed further in the direction the orcs had come from she could see the rear of them. Then she slowly sat up and nearly dropped as the horn sounded..

Luthzurz was sweating like a pig over a bonfire, his broad long arms swinging while his bent legs brought him further step by step. He felt like complaining, leaving his dark comfy cave to march in that unbearable heat of the sun and what for? Just because of some story about the good old days returning. To make matters even worse, he was at first glad to get beneath these trees, to save his milky white skin from burning to a crisp, but that didn't last for long either. "Sumthin' ain't quite right over 'ere..", he thought. He turned his head up to look at the thick lengthy branches, it was the last time he ever did when a horn was blown and a javelin fell upon him..
--
Wulfaz took his javelin and laughed wildly as he saw his first victim, some albino-orc drop with a shaft sticking from it's chest. He immediately lowered the point of the second and did as he was taught. Aim for the center. He let fly his second and was pleased to see so many orcs being pincushioned in less then a few heartbeats.
Kenaz had hurled her last javelin down. She could see that orcs were dropping like flies. Yet still not enough of them. The were held in line by some big brute and she hugged her branch as she could see several of the goblins pick their bows and attempt to return death.
Both gasped as arrows whizzed past, barbed, rusty and likely poisoned there was little encouragement required further to hold down. Their eyes widened as one of the men fell down with two arrows stuck in his chest, gritting their teeth so did their hands slid down to grab for the weapons on their belts.. Another time to horn was sounded! "Father!!", they yelled in unison as a man with flaming hair jumped from his branch with an axe and a terrible roar!
--
The battle had become goblin to man now, rusty mean knives hacked and slashed at men, while axes, wooden clubs and long knives fell upon the creatures from the mountains! "The leader!! Get the leader!!", the twins' father yelled as they came after him, Kenaz reeled back as the thick shaft of a spear bashed her on the skull, had Wulfaz not been there to crack the creature's hands she may have found her end there. She grabbed his shoulder and he took her around the waist, pulling her on while all around their brethren tried to break the goblin's morale!
They found the goblins' leader, a fat large creature, it snarled at their father and having no more of it's goblins to spare it drew it's axe, "Come on then Man-scum..", it grunted and swung towards him. A series of jumping back and swinging forward came in between the melee, Wulfaz saw his chance to bash a goblin in the back of the skull, the man he helped offering a nod before aided the others. Kenaz swung her knife around with some effort, she stumbled on her feet as if drunk. "Brodr.. help him..", she muttered. The axes of both leaders were hooked in eachother's heads now and a wrestle followed, their father was strong, but this creature's weight was too much as it merely leaned forward. "I'll gut you good and then after you're dead I'll put you in the stew!", it roared gleefully, it's bulk winning inch by inch in their struggle. "Hoy creature, catch!!", Wulfaz yelled and with a clumsy swing his club missed the orc, yet atleast he sent the weapons of them flying. Disarmed and now facing the twins and their father it made a horrible squeeling sound of dismay and pushed through the ranks. .. Wulfaz recieved a pat on the shoulder as he wished to give chase, "No son! Go look after your sister, you did well today!" He looked around him upon recieving the slap, looking at the hand and nodding. Kenaz sat on her knees, holding her head while many throats were roaring and cheering in victory, the fight was done!
