“To witness that which you observed in its splendor, fall into decay, and become ruin. To see it torn asunder by darkness, and stand helpless as hope and light fade into black despair. Tis worse than death my son...” The words of his father echoed in Haldaer's head from a lifetime long past.
"Thus is my curse," he murmured. To have lived through the ages of this world, only to die in spirit time and time again.
