Dear Diary, for the longest time, I had thought Mother was simply lost in one of her ridiculous fantasies. Apparently I was wrong, very wrong. She had said she wanted to find a suitor for me, a proper Lord to stand beside me and lead my House. It was always her dream for me to marry, and for her to choose the spouse. Eofare, and Deocles will be less than pleased to find that I am spoken for, and officially. Yet, the man seems decent enough, perhaps I can settle down with Lord Warrence, however his Father makes me quite uneasy, I do not know the man all too well, but I could have sworn there was an odd tension in the air when he had walked into the room, along with the agreement he made with my Mother to give my hand in marriage to Lord Warrence, something was not right.
Why am I doing this?
Perhaps for the good of my house, or perhaps to avoid breaking the heart of my Mother.
Eofare... I will always love you, no matter what.
Yet it simply cannot be.
