As Blince walked casually through Begger's alley for the um-teenth time this week, he began thinking. Not why he was doing it, he knew why. He was bored, and longed for something to take his anger out on. So he acted as a ''Hero'', even though he was barely one. He killed anyone who he thought deserved it, and beat the other's half to death.
And because of this, or maybe it was his black-clad clothing, or his grim voice - maybe all of it. They all referred to him as ''Death''. Which, even though looks aside, was his playful introduction of whom he is. And he just assumed that ''Blince'' may have been more difficult to remember than ''Death''.
Or maybe fate was having cruel irony on him. Who knows.
