Amaurë speaks...
In time, all things come to pass as the white ships sailing into the West. There my kin longs to wander in the land across the sea their hearts forever dwell, upon the shore so far away. Now in truth I come to be called the Gentle Healer , and a time may come when my story may need to be known for ,in truth, I think even my humble tale may be of some value in the ever growing darkness that is embracing Middle-earth.
For now the world of the Eldar drifts further from this world. I have no quarrel with people of good will and true heart, regardless of their race, only with those who inflict pain and suffering onto others. And now as this world is changing, and my kin is passing into our native lands across the sea, my tale will be written and told, for I , like the world around me, have changed.
There was a time when a weary traveler, if he had the will and knew the secret paths across the mountains, could find his way and reach the hidden vale of Imladris, for a time, the gates between the worlds would drift within the mists at the command of Lord Elrond, and were open, letting the traveler through. Now the pathway that leads to the vale needs to be hidden, and the gates are closed and guarded.
A place of peace and rest my house shall always be. Body and spirit are both integral to healing. Two worlds, the physical, and the spirit world. I am able to consciously exist in both . My ada was a great healer and from him I learned that my words, my touch, my songs, all are needed in healing hearts, bodies and spirits. I am Amaurë and in the gardens of Imladris, the fairest of all places, I spend my life in pursue of the Art of Elven Healing and my dreams.
